We all have freinds with cooperative joint custoday, and to use examples we all can identify with (since you dont know my friens), Cruise/Kidman, Bruce willis and his wife have cooperative custody. many many examples. Will Smith and his ex have very cooperative custody.
People willing to make such untrue, insulting and inflammatory statements are usually the ones unwilling to cooperate.

I think he tried to make them look bad but knew he couldn't say they raped him. And he chose NOT to tell them of his HIV positive status, so someone might die because he didn't feel like warning them, isn't that against the law, to have sex with someone without telling them you're HIV positive? It's sorta like a life sentence, a sentence to die. Thanks, dude.
He was treated fairly in prison by the administration. Got to see his lawyers, embassy officials. Got to smoke, read, teach, watch TV, shower. I don't think his treatment in the jail was so Victorian.
He was physically and verbally threatening on the plane. That is far worse than losing your cool with the idiot clerk at Walmart. He knew he wasn't supposed to mix alcohol with his medications (further exasperbated by flying), but he did so, extensively. 4 Drinks within a few hours is excessive.

He had a lawyer, he even got visits from the American embassy--I bet many don't. He was fed, got showers, was allowed to teach, had books, access to a library and Cable.

When one is in jail, one is locked up, it's the very nature of incarceration, we can't cry that it's cruel. The people in jail are mean, angry, desperate people. They lie. They throw their feces at the staff. The ones with HIV/AIDS spit at staff in an effort to infect them. Yet, they live better than most 3rd world country residents with 3 square meals, chaplins, library, health care, dentist, weights, basketball, cable TV, exercise yard, right to mingle with other prisoners.
you can lock each in their own cell 24/7, but then they sue the county for restricting their movement. Allowing some movement will result in conflicts, you can't have it both ways, it's in the nature of killers, rapists, child abusers.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]American Citizens do not have civil rights abroad. None of us can expect to exercise our American Constitutional rights in any country besides the US. I don't think the British laws were circumvented, he sure didn't tell us that, and if they had been, I'm sure he would have told us. He himself admitted that the delay was due to the awkward timeing that a lot of courts are closed during the Christmas season.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]that's not what he did. He got belligerant and THREATENING and refused to move from a secure area when asked by flight attendants. He was rightly seen as a threat to the safety of the plane.
He was charged and held until his hearing, just like in the US (one doesn't always qualify for bond here either). His punishment for his crime was either $1,000 or time served plus a few more weeks.
Heck, parking in a handicapped-accessible parking space is a $500 fine in my state, so threatening airline staff during a flight and threatening the safety of a plane full of people should be a higher fine, I think.

What he did was scary and it warranted an investigation. It’s easy to look back at the situation and say ‘he was just tipsy’ ... Kurth had an entire cabin full of people scared shitless that he was going to rip open a hatch over the Atlantic.

Tech tredegy and now the peanut gallery is saying the opposite, the unstable guy should have been detained, and now the peanut gallery is saying the opposite, the unstable guy should have been free to terrorist the other flyers. cuz that's what he was doing, scaring the bejesus out of all the othter passengersm, making them think they might die in the next second.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]it's just the opposite in my house: I am always turning off lights in empty rooms, I can't get my husband to turn off lights when he leaves a room. He can go up to bed at night and the entire basement and entire fist floor is fully lit.
