  • It Will Take an Obama to Catch an Osama.

    [Read the article: Brand-aid]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Republicans, the Independents, and the Democrats must think about the country first. This guy, Barack Obama, wasn't raised on easy street. He had no strong father to guide him. Yet he is a man for all seasons.

Just look at the candidate slogans that Jeff Yang has brought to our attention. From 72 year old John McCain we have 'Straight Talk Express'. Here is a man who employs in his campaign so many registered lobbyists.

From Hillary Clinton we have 'The Strength and Experience to Bring Real Change' . Here is a woman who did not READ the 2002 NIE, yet voted to trust the judgment of George W. Bush on war. She counts her 8 years as first-lady as government experience.

A comedian, Chris Rock, said that his wife of 10 years would NOT make a good comedian simply by being his spouse.

Then we have Barack Obama. a man who finds his focus sometime after September 11, 2001. One imagines him asking himself, "What circumstances brought about this tragic loss of life and what can I do to see that the world heals its wounds before old wounds explode in violence? "(my words here).

The world wants Obama. The young want Obama. I want Obama. From a not so young Vietnam Vet, give us a warm person, a man of principle, skill, and intellect.

We need his friendship skills. It will take an Obama to catch an Osama.

  • The Hillary Campaign is Promoting Its Disgraceful Position on Favoring McCain over Obama?

[Read the article: Quarter of Clinton supporters would vote McCain over Obama]

    These people hate us. Why?

  • Hillary Must "Show Us the Money" to Get Our Vote

[Read the article: The numbers crunch Hillary in Texas]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Democrats are concerned that she has not provided her 1040 tax statements. In a recent debate she promised to do so.

Barack Obama provided his tax information many months ago.

The New York Times titled a recent editorial "Show Us the Money" and directed its message to her. Still she hides her tax information from us, the voters.

Obviously the Clintons are rich. Otherwise she couldn't write a $5 Million check in February to her campaign. "It is a loan", she said.

The feeling persists that she is hiding something. Meanwhile she insists "I am fully vetted and my opponent is not."

  • Primaries Like Texas Attract Republicans Who Vote for the Candidate Easier to Beat in November

[Read the article: It ain't over yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It is not too complicated. As soon as McCain became a lock, the Republicans had their marching orders. Rush Limbaugh announced this to his audience without scruples or apology. He said, "Vote for Hillary."

  • Democrats Beware, Less Than 1.3 Million Texas Republicans Voted McCain or Huckabee

[Read the article: It ain't over yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    It is not too complicated.

I believe that Republicans are now picking the Democratic candidate that they feel is easiest to beat in November. Rush Limbaugh urged his listeners to vote for Hillary in yesterday's Texas primary. Does anyone believe that Limbaugh is a fan of Hillary ?

In addition you may have noticed that John McCain directs much of his attack on the Democrats at Barack Obama.

So now the Republicans and the Hillary Clinton supporters are going after Barack Obama.

  • That "Me and McCain" quote and Barack's Muslim Garb Photo Ends It for Me

[Read the article: It ain't over yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

So for Hillary, anything goes, even if its a fellow Democrat.

She may have forgotten that 'people who live in glass houses' throw stones at their peril.

  • Hillary Will Gain No More Than 10 Delegates from the Four March 4 Primaries/Texas Caucus

[Read the article: No Texas-size victory for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Yes, it is true.

On March 8 a Wyoming Caucus will assign 12 pledged delegates and 6 unpledged delegates. Let us assume that Wyoming splits evenly between the two candidates.

On March 11 a Mississippi Primary will be held with 40 delegates up for grabs. If Barack Obama can garner 63% of the vote, then he will get 25 delegates to Hillary Clinton's 15, a gain of 10.

Thus the modest Hillary victory margin March 4th will vanish. Momentum will then swing back to Barack.

  • "Cooler and cooler" in a Crisis Beats Hot-Head and I Am a Fighter

[Read the article: It's 3 a.m. Who do you want answering the phone?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    I agree with Mr. Benjamin.

Hot-head McCain and 'I am a fighter' Hillary Clinton are no match for Mr. Cool Obama in a crisis. It takes intellect and good judgment to solve thorny problems.

There was one particular incident in Vietnam where cooler heads prevailed, though just barely,

and our ambush patrol returned to base without injury.

Wellington, I recall, was the British military man who compared 'nature' as in 'your nature' to habit as a virtue in battle. He said, "Habit is 10 times nature."

This is what we get with Barack Obama and only him.

  • Sorry Joe, the Clinton's Did the Crime and They are Going to Pay for It, Not Us in November

[Read the article: Some free advice for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

We all know that Hillary Clinton and her companion, Bill, are hiding something. Otherwise they would have been quick to show us that they are 'fully vetted' as Hillary is so fond of saying.

They can trash Obama all they want, but these attempts at distraction will not help them. Today is Sunday and the Clintons could make believers out of us by opening their tax records for inspection. But they will not do so for they are hiding behind the "Trust Me" myth.

Our sitting President is another 'trust me' kind. The Clintons want us to shut up and believe. But we are the Americans and 'Trust Me' time is OVER.

  • The Polls Show Obama Pounding McCain by 12 Percentage Points

[Read the article: Who would the GOP rather face?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Pounding McCain is the important thing because of the large coat-tails effect. We Democrats want to sweep Independent and Democratic House and Senate candidates into office. We need this mandate from the people.

Only Barack Obama, the Change Candidate, can provide it, a 45 state victory.

It might be someone with a lot on her mind. It might be someone paid by the word. It might be someone with a lot of time on her hands. It might be KateTex.

  • Majority of Miss. White Voters Prefer McCain and Are REPUBLICAN

[Read the article: A look at exit polls from the Mississippi Democratic primary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What is not to understand ? If we continue to have these late in the campaign primaries where Republicans can vote in the Democratic Primary, then Hillary voters will be numerous.

I believe that the Texas Primary was won by Hillary (100,000 vote margin) with the help of her new-found friends, the Republicans. Why this love fest ?

Simple, McCain Republicans want to run against the person that they can beat.

  • @DLF, I Salute You !

Your letter supplies the facts to my conclusion.

    Thank You !
