I just have to say that I feel just a big surge of pride when I see progressives getting behind justice, one more time. This is what integrity looks like in action. Yes there are many blemishes in the action on the left historically, and currently, but there is something about attempting to be the best we can bring ourselves to be that gives me hope for our species. And specifically, Glenn, you are simply one of the best.

that Cheney promulgated torture BECAUSE HE WANTED TO. He wanted to pass that line, he wanted to shove his super huge prowess down the throats of absolutely anyone, BECAUSE HE COULD. (OK, probably up. And probably that other orifice.) And because he plans to be dead before any justice will ever come about. It was never about getting the truth out of anyone, it was never about efficacy and it certainly wasn't about 'protecting the United States'. This man did more to endanger the US than anyone, ever.
