I don't want my taxes, already being spent with so much waste, fraud and abuse, also being used to kill a baby and suck its body out of a womens uterus. That is not the responsibility of taxpayers.
Well guess what? I don't want my tax money to pay for the lung cancer treatments of someone who was stupid enough to get addicted to cigarettes. But since cigarettes are legal, then I guess I'm stuck. Abortion, last time I checked, is legal in this country and so should be covered by any and all insurance plans. Your morality should not dictate my health care coverage, just as mine should not dictate anyone else's. If you're anti-abortion, then don't have one.
I am firmly in the camp of those who agree that everyone deserves to be told--and to feel--beautiful, no matter how many people don't think they are. But why is it that alongside a post about how we should stop hating our bodies and start helping others stop hating their bodies, all I see are ads for weight-loss "secrets" and ways to lose that unsightly belly fat? I guess money always wins out over good intentions.
An old soul with a voice that stops people in their tracks, not to mention a smile that turns patellas to butter and makes hearts flutter. An ever changing combo of jazzy country with a Latin underpinning and a nod to the swingin' 60s. And he's actually NICE to his fans, takes time after nearly every show to sign autographs and take pictures until the last fan has gone home. Check out his brand new Christmas album, Marshmallow World and Other Holiday Favorites. You'll be hooked.
