Stamaty's not publishing the strip anymore. It's hard to discern exactly when he stopped, or why - google does not reveal much, and I left the US in 1987 so I was not reading the local press when it was discontinued.
Apparently Stamaty writes occasionally for slate.com
I have his email address, but I'm not publishing it here.
"It's deja-vu all over again"
and again and again...
If this thing passes, we will all regret it for decades to come.
Nothing should be done until the new president comes into office.
The "Stockbroker Bailout Act of 2008" is just BAD policy.
...if distributed equally to every taxpaying US Citizen over 18 years of age, would equal more than a quarter of a million dollars per person - needless to say, this could cover a hell of a lot of risk. . .
I just wanted to illustrate the ridiculousness of the Broker Banker Bailout Act of 2008, also known as the last dying gasp of the Bush Regime.
Sensible, honest folks are totally opposed to anymore millionaire bailouts.
She had been abandoned by the previous tenant. I tried introducing her to our cat who lived inside with us, but he freaked out, so we just kept feeding her outside. She was very sweet and very hungry.
One night I heard screeching brakes, then a light thud and a sharp high cry, followed by a car receding into the distance.
She was in the road, still warm and quite still. She hadn't had a very happy life, but under the circumstances, we had made the good parts of it as nice as we could.
The strange thing is, I still think about her once or twice a year, even though she was only a stray, never had a name, and died years ago and thousands of miles from where we live today.
All life is brief, and precious. Savor it while you can.
... there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq
... they'll welcome us with open arms, throw rose petals in our path
... democracy will sweep the middle east
... the surge is working
... the bailout is for main street, not wall street
you know, one man's BS is another man's dogma...
It's easy to bash what you consider to be irrational.

n.
1. An unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother, traditionally considered the property of the first person who brands it.
2. Someone who refuses to conform to established standards of conduct; blunt and aggressive; generally oblivious to their effect on others
So, given that both McCain and Palin were branded long ago, they should be considered the property of the same people who got this country into such a mess.
that's ok, John McCain's shoes are $520 Ferragamo loafers

I'm sure his wife bought them for him. He probably has one pair in the closet in each of his nine homes.
she's a sucker for a great pair of ... legs...
this particular comic sequence is holding my attention!
not bad, for a rerun.
I suspect Mr. Penguin will be "put down" - while believing that everything's just fine...
After all, odds dictate that most animal shelter tenants leave through the back door, not the front.
I flew through there this week. Confusing, smelly, dirty, expensive, rude.
I wanted to exchange a 20 Euro note before returning to the USA - the clerk gave me $20 in return, so I asked for my money back...
One Euro = approximately $1.34, except in Frankfort...
Now there's a great King (short) story (Richard Bachman I do believe) made into a movie!
That, and The Dead Zone
I bought Duma Key, and it was ok (up to a point), but nothing like vintage King...
chantix is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) like prozac and paxil. if you drink alcohol while taking it you can experience extreme mood swings and psychotic behavior.
chantix users accounted for 998 serious injury reports and 78 deaths during the 4th quarter of 2007. the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a division of the Department of Transportation, is warning bus and truck drivers to stay off Chantix.
the FDCSA said that “… it appears that medical examiners should not certify a driver taking Chantix because the medication may adversely affect the driver’s ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.”
this is an addictive and dangerous drug - you should not be prescribed this drug unless you are receiving regular followup visits with a mental health therapist.
my wife had severe problems as a result of this drug. it should also be noted that because of brain chemistry changes, if you do start smoking again after taking chantix, you will have a much greater chance of becoming permanently addicted...
that endsville well...
(1) Evil Dead II - to my mind, was much scarier than the first one
(2) Nightmare on Elm Street II - also much more frightening than the original.
Another film that gave me the creeps was "Candyman" - when Virgina Madsen wakes up covered in blood... wow!
And I agree about the zombie trilogy of Night, Dawn and Day - but for a real laugh/slaughter/fest, Return of the Living Dead is a riot!
The Others...
The Sixth Sense....
I'm just sayin' . . .
...until I edited it to say "Handgun Owners for Obama"
Since then, it's been there for a month straight unmolested!
Much of the initial coverage about Fort Hood turned out to be wrong. Is there anything wrong with that?
