Point well taken.

The last point Glenn. A+ humour. Not to worry, I think they're grooming Luke for the job. (*This would also explain the delay in finding a suitable replacement.)

And then there is the matter of NBC vetting Glenn. For example, why are blogs bad? How well has the surge worked? ... What do you call your gun? etc.

***

Glenn >(re; emails) "from a very trustworthy source." Snort. Who ...if not me? How'bout a clue: inside/outside NBC? who? ... sysprog?(i think he might be the toobz.)...

In any case, since the duties and obligations of those who would determine news 'trustworthy' is no less binding upon the 'truth' than those who offer to provide it, I would have to admit 'trust' is a very important criteria in who I listen to for news. Ironic, don't you think Glenn. ;)

yours truly,

bah.

The family jewels.

Lets breed them out! prima nocta? In my little county if your name is not *********** you can forget about any public office anyway. This is because approximately 79.3% of the entire population are ***********s.

Although I am not a *********** my first wife (/7.) was, and, even then, we were third cousins, once removed. Which is about as far apart, genetically speaking, as you can get there. You see what I'm getting at - a very limited gene pool.

So I loaded up the truck and moved away from there. ... Movie stars, swimming pools!

My point, Glenn, is that it seems to me the number one cause of nepotism (w/ all due respect to all the star-quality comments here) is more a static-declining, highly insular, mostly ignorant (which is not to say stupid), poverty-stricken population ... or else rich as *rockefeller*?

...thought you should know.

bah.

ps. ~To whom it may concern: I like a little levity to wash down the hard-headed truth as much as the next person ... but you people are getting out-of-hand entirely.

O.k. I'll try to forget I ever heard the word primogeniture bop o.

>"Primogeniture and hereditary public office have no place in U. S. tradition." over/out.

bop o, i'll go listen to al green instead ...

10/4love,

re: Update.

I would be mildly Overwhelmingly surprized if Obama kept Gen. Hayden on @ the Central Intelligence Agency (i like to spell it out.), Glenn.

Imo, Gen. Hayden would be one toke over the line. I listened intently to his testimony on *illegal* spying (this year?) and the time it took to interpret his linguistic gymnastics was more valuable [to me] than the edification it provided.

bah.

~Mooser. I like the updates too. But the Links go well with a crust of bread and such. (*u r wise to be Leary of Timothy3.)

~bop o. Speaking of infestations: got a new virus scannermajigthing and found 16 virus, 9 bots w/ cots, 196 Threats, 2 turntables and a microphone. yip. *also, found two messesges in a bottle that were deleted... but i read them anyway. :)

Top Democrats.

>"Unrealistic in the extreme to think ...these Bush policies are going to magically vanish ...simply because Democrats are in control."

Correct.

More likely the Republicans, led by Bush/Cheney/Shooter, are in complete disarray, certainly discredited, if not widely dispised. It is not the Republican Party that will prove the biggest, most complicated challenge for "change". We changed Republicans Nov. 4th, supposedly.

I suspect if change is to come it's the Top Democrats like Reyes who condoned all these policies (if not actively complicit in them) who will be much more difficult to root-out.

bah.

~Glenn. p.s. Wear a suit (you do have a suit?) and tie on the TV shows (Moyers/Maddow). Comb your hair. Sit up straight. Be civil. ...and remember, humour is your friend. Seriously.

Saturday, December 13, 2008 10:39 AM

Nice suit.

Both interviews. (*tail ... what sharp little eyes you have!) Very tasteful.

Glenn. You sure can say a lot in a small amount of time ~ everything from shakespeare to pure evil in 20 minutes! wowdang. And a real fast talker to boot... mooser can have the Updates, transcripts are my friend.

Good stuff Glenn. Especially the Moyers interview. (*It wouldn't hurt if Rachel threw a few more bombs, imo.)

briefly,

~>"pure evil exists."

No it don't. You've been reading to many 3rd century BC Manichean fables and Bush Adm. briefings, Glenn. (*we'll talk more after you rest up.)

~>(bill to glenn)"...you were impressed with the president after 9/11."

I've never been impressed with George Bush, and frankly, I am very surprized you ever were Glenn! To suggest Bush merely 'squandered' (post 9/11) international good will is overly generous, imo. It assumes Bush cared about international 'good will' in the first place.

~ re concerning Obama as a 'benevolent dictator'. ...Well, the top democrats might have something to say about tat. lol.

all in all, very interesting interviews Glenn. I like it.

Excuse me.

@kitt & kovie. some observations on humor

Imho, there are two kinds of humor. There is the very essence of humor, 'pure humor' lets say, and then there is its humorous qualities. The essence of pure humor is known by its humorous qualities. Otherwise, the humor is unknown and hidden.

On a happy note.

~You are back to regular blogging, Glenn.

(Otherwise, I wouldn't have heard nary a discouraging word on the t.v. about this Report ~ It's Blagomania 24/7. ...spit, so quite not even a mouse is stirring.)

~Tick tock. Time is not on Bushs' side, yawning media notwithstanding. (*I bet, shoot it all, some day, it will be like it never even existed.) Still, it seems to me this Ugly Report is going to be hard for Obama Transition to, uh, ...explain, right Glenn? Seems to me there ain't no explaination for it.

happy hanakah,

bah.
