"I'd like to know the answer to this, too."

"No adult supervision" I believe is how the IG report describes the goings-on over at the DOJ!

(No doubt, it's hard to make time for investigations when the young Ms. Goodling is worried about vetting applicants on 'how much you want to serve president Bush' , 'why are you a Rupublican', etc., etc.)

Personally, I've stopped asking such questions about this Gov. ("I'd like to know the answer...") when they out-ed CIA agents/Diplomatic missions (while blaming 'false intelligence' for the Iraq war) and nothing happened (except a pardon for Scooter) etc., etc. Imo, there has been ample evidence to indict, if not impeach, the whole Bush cabal for years now.

It's no secret.

I don't care much for 'confidential sources', Glenn. I can, in rare exceptions, see the need for some 'whistle-blower' protections (i.e. protections contingent upon the *veracity* of what they're blowing the whistle on).

{As an aside, I can just imagine *you* using 'confidential sources' about some earth-shaking event, Glenn. I suspect the sharp-nosed news hounds here would tear you limb-from-limb! Oh, you'd spill the beans alright...we have our ways!}

Yes, yes, I would agree there "should be" wide-ranging investigations into the anthrax/Ivins affair...the plame affair, the Media-complicity affair, the Iraq affair, etc., etc., etc., cc AG Mukasey.

lingering trust,

bah.

Original article: What's the answer to this?

What's the answer to this!

>"... Is there anyone at this point who disagrees with that?"

Let's start with Congress, Glenn.

Presently, I think we can add to this list: The FBI (doh), DOJ, CIA, NSA, LBJ, PTA and, maybe, the AARP. None of these people agree (if they are even aware of the 'problems' re; FBI investigation) there ought to be independent investigations into this matter. At this point, i'm afraid it's just us chickens. Glenn.

Now, if we were talking Edwards' love affair that would be another story. ...you need a vacation.

I must say this whole FBI investigation thing is beginning to read like a Robert Ludlum novel or, perhaps, a Colbert skit. The plot doth thicken curiously.

goosebumps,

bah.

~if you need me, i'll be over at Cocktailhag's house making banana pudding.

What does it profit a man...

Again, the suggestion [by Obama Advisors] there may be 'possible criminal/unconstitutional' issues with this law that woulda/coulda/shoulda be resolved at some time (Barack horizen time?) in the future. Hell, Mr. Halperin, all the more reason to have opposed this 'criminal/unconstitutional' law, then. ... It would have saved Obama from the arduous task of convicting these 'criminal/unconstitutional' buggers, if nothing else. Don't you think,.

The Retroactive Immunity law. Oh, that's rich. Or some kind of sick joke, I can't tell which.

Glenn. Is this what you call a vacation!

~lwm. Full frontal lobotomy. ... the only known cure for Witzelsucht.

~Mooser. I can sense the slightest human suffering.

Original article: Salon Radio: Jane Hamsher

Glenn.dog.Jane.

Your transcript is inaccurate, Glenn. I don't know if Jane lives on a farm, but I heard dogs barking, cats meowing, cows-a-mooing and an assortment of other barn-yard animal voices in the background of the audio feed.

Excellent sound quality, though.

~also, on a certain level I am with Cocktailhag about people concerned with speaking voices: Crazy. (Nevertheless, we have compiled a translation for those who are having Trouble understanding you @ sig.)

troubled,

Chickens roosting.

Forget Condi. Bush, His-self, says military power (in the case of Georgia, any way) is "completely unacceptable to the free nations of the world." Bush, "May Take Moscow To Task For Georgia Invasion". Whoa back jack.

That's the trouble here, regardless of who started what in Georgia, you can't believe a word these idiots say. This can't be a good thing for the free nations of the 21st century, imo.

bah.

~Mooser. I don't know, I think Obama is giving McCain a run for his money in the 'letting bygones be bygones: w/ a little retro immunity for good measure' department. Besides, 'what's a Mitt Romney' if you think you're so smart :/

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 02:19 PM

Dumb as a stick.

Mitt ... Not you Mooser. You're pretty smart. No one knows what a Mitt Romney is, not even Mitt. (ie. it was a trick question.)

I'm listening to Secretary Rice ply her state-craft wrt Georgia on the public radio right now. It appears if Alabama dosen't surrender immediately, there may be trouble.

What Rachel needs...

is a trunk monkey. Or, someone like me. That way, when ol' Buchannon starts acting up Rachel can simply push a button which activates my cage latch, freeing me, so I can hit him over the head with a stick. (Not that it would do any good.)

My point, Glenn, is that I fear Rachel may be wasting that Oxford education (and her breath) yakking with the likes of MSNBC Star Commentators like Pat Buchannon and co.! They are thick as thieves, you know!! I've personally seen her struggle heroically on that 'run for the white house' show!!! gads.

Anyways, I am very glad Rachel Maddow will be on the T.V. Lord knows, we need more like her.

bah.

ps. Ocean. I don't know if it is entirely 'language' that seperates us from the other beasts. Koko (the gorilla) has a 1200 word vocabulary - which is more than I can say for some journalists!

~(psst, Glenn. I got an extra $20 spot if you'll run this fluffy puppy down the street for me!)

Sunday, August 24, 2008 10:59 AM

Two peoples seperated by a common language.

Maybe, Da' Mooser ... but I don't think your're mean or nasty. Really. Well, I'm not sure about the nasty part. (Personally, I take a shower twice a year, whether I need it or not.)

gosh. Adders fang'd!

a quote: But I will delve one yard below their mines,

And blow them at the moon: O, 'tis most sweet, When in one line two crafts directly meet.

bah,

yourself.

ps. Brian Boru is a sodding twit, imo.
