I'm the crazy cousin in the attic, packy. Heck, everybody knows it's me, pieceofcake, bop (if that's his real name) and, to a lesser extent, william timberman, who are about the only things keeping Glenn from sliding into the dregs of elitism.
About that worm William. I think i ate the fish that fed of the worm that turned on kristol.
*Do you people know they have polls in Penn., on, i kid you not,: "beer drinkers", "Bowlers", "Hunters" and lord only knows what else.
seaman bah.
*I've been demoted bop o. I don't mind, everybody knows everything above a Rear/Vice (admiral) kind of peters-out and turns into politics as usual.
Most of the TV (news) shows I've witnessed recently are not geared for news in the traditional-classical sense at all (& I will testify to that effect, too.). They are more like political gossip Clubs, along with indepth study in the fine arts of politics - hardball politics (is there any other kind?). ... And the club is very small.
I have read the entire NYT article and have encouraged several friends to also read it. I believe it is a Major revelation in the sense it was [even] on the front page of the Times and so comprehensive.
My questions about it would concern;
1. Will the NYT go back through it's past publications, especially during the run-up to the Iraq war, and highlight the articles/opinions/op-ed's that were little more than Gov. propaganda? etc.
*2*. Where in the Hell is Congress on these Revelations! Don't they have any thing to say about the Gov. fooling/tricking everybody about WAR. shit.
bah.
asides~ William, my Yiddish is rusty but I wanted to tell you, you ain't nothing but a kosher sweet heart. ~ jkalos the jedi too. :)
McCain visited Inez (ky.) this week. [don't bother with maps, you will need the GPS to locate Inez.] Inez is very deep in the Appalachain hills. It's not far from Mousie Ky.. ('Mousie' was a real person, whos' sister was named Kitty, and was/is my Grandma. All true.)
Anyway, McCain toured the area and was glad to see many appalachains have indoor plumbing - one less thing to worry about, etc. McCain is trying to get Internet access to the Hills, and I agree. A laptop for every outdoor two-seater, I say.
*I won't say McCain's visit has swayed me, yet, but I/we appreciate the attention. **I can't say who I'm voting for - it's a secret wrapped in a mystery.
Off topic/thread: Glenn, your interview w/ Mr. Brown was very good. You showed remarkable restraint, and treated him nicely considering - better than I could have, for sure. And you say this fellow now *teaches* journalism! This could be problem, imo.
Concerning this post: Given the past 7 years experience, if the Bush Adm. said Russian tanks were rolling down flat-bush ave., I would still need independent verification.
bah.
ps. bop's goodcelery; is it true that if you scratch W.T. just behind the ears he will pee on a fire hydrant ... yea, 'his words were true, for he had found many a secret justice in this seeming tyranny of the watchman, and seen how many a mercy lay hid behind the veil.';
You probably passed through Inez when you Blinked. .) Don't worry about that wrong turn, everybody is lost when they pass through Inez... I think McCain made several wrong turns the other day.
I figured you for a girlfriend in Berea, quickdraw. And from a 'small spot in appalachia', as well. ... Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome and welcome again, Quickstrategy.
welcome,
bah.
I once called Wilber a 'skin headed dude', among other things. Evidently, even though I apologized, Ken found my remarks humorous... so I decided right then and there that Wilber was no snooty tooty.
Obviously, with some kind of magical perception i presume, he realized I didn't mean he was like The Skin Heads (whom, from what I gather, think they are like the Nazi! Alas, there are skin heads and those with skined heads.) Of course, I was simply referring to Wilber's bright, semi-reflective, chrome dome. Air Wilber, I've taken to calling him.

It flung up momentarily the sacred river.'

It's like the universe in this way - how could it end.
If this is the context... "The realization that the discoveries of physics *never* will end has brought physicists, as well as those who have followed the story of physics, to an extremely fertile plateau. This realization invites the intellect to leap forward, although at great risk to its present hegemony." *Zukov, Dancing Wu Li Masters, p. 330

Well, you can give Howard Kurtz all the credit you want, Glenn ("But one must give credit where its due."), but he aint' getting nothing from me.
At least Mr. Brown (from your interview) indicated some remorse for his role in propagating false information with regard to war in Iraq, in retrospect.
c corporation,
bah.
