International law, treaties and such!

Are you crazy omelette! How, pray tell, do you think THAT would spread freedom and democracy around the world? (Besides, we -me and Glenn, anyway- are still working feverishly on U.S. law.)

Look, everybody knows (including Hillary) that even a simple matter like the Levin Amendment (to the AUMF) does nothing but give the UN "VETO power" over the U.S. Congress's right to spread freedom and democracy around the world. And everybody knows that's un-american.

Tzu sue says: which came first, chicken and egg.

over easy,

bah.

ps. Glenn says send quarters for the slot machines.

Re: International law, ondelette prior post.

Thanks for your reply in prior post ondelette. The post was 'closed' for further comment, but wanted to let you know I reviewed your comments and appreciate the reply to me.

Since you put it that way, Common Article 3, I can see your point of view. And I think it's a good one. It is my hope, and I think I can speak for Glenn here, that if we can find-the-spine to enforce U.S. law, perhaps we won't have to worry so much about international law. Thus, walla.

O~t bop o: Freud, in his 'Civilization and It's Discontents', said the main problem with mankind (subconsciously) is that it would not let go of his eggo. *also, I get the feeling that William Timberman has read all three of the three Shakespears.

today,

bah.

Amen, Brother Greenwald.

Give me 15 minutes to moderate a debate between McCain and Obama on 'national security' and they will have to put john on some kind of medication. Nerve pills, most likely.

This is a good thing.

tough love,

bah.

Buggers and thieves.

The lot of em. Bad seeds. And s-2248 (ie., the Bush/telecom retroactive/proactive immunity and amnesty act) is breathtakingly, short-sightedly bad.

Otoh, these people treat me like a house fly, tell me to shoo. 'They tell me to keep on dreaming... and that's just what I'm going to do.'

I'm gonna keep on dreaming peace and justice is not only possible, but inevitable.

sooner better than later,

bah.

ps. I was ...impressed that Dodd quoted you last night, Glenn. (with Dodd.) And, he was eloquent.

Yeah,

yep, yes, si, se', da, indeedy.

Glenn is just jealous. He's got no politcal talent.

You eat more celery, watching cspan2 I've noticed. Unfortunately, Celery, after buying cspan2 with cold cash, you also get a whole bunch of really wierd stuff. I was flipping the channels other day and Karl Rove Was Doing The News. .!. That guy's got some politcal talent.

cream cheese,

bah.

ps. if fisa don't work-out good, I may want my money back. (cspan2).

Goodcelery!.

I've never touched a steriod in my life. I don't even know what a steroid is. Furthermore, I'm not sure I want to know what a steroid is. (...is it like a fake/faux/bot cow?)

They should hold hearings.

Along those lines, I never touched Monica, neither. I swear.

Hatch can take his geese-crap and shove it up his orrin. In my lucid moments. I actually heard a Republican Rep. (forgot name) yesterday on cspan2, who was an ex. FBI agent, say the Telecoms were like the good patriotic people who 'helped' him every single day when he worked for the FBI. And I thought to myself: every single day this FBI agent had someone break the law and spy/wiretap american citizens without a warrant?

That is one loose fbi goose. that's what I meant to say. yes.

like water off a ducks back,

bah.
