Bullets over Broadway.

But I never mean't to hurt no one.

~Daja vu: Hot off the press, self-appointed terrorist czar, Dick Cheney, says there is a "high probability" of a nuclear/bio attack soon. Either we must invade somebody soon and get a little r.e.s.p.e.c.t. ... or place your head firmly between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

Defense Budgets and "What planet do these idiots live on?"*

No, I'm not talking about the financial wizards on wall street who recently gave themeselves an $18billion bonus - I'm talking about the idiots who gave these geniuses the $18billion. In the first place. (*Sen. whats-her-name from Ark?)

I bet they live on the same planet where its better to have 100,ooo nuclear weapons and not need them, than to need 100,ooo nuclear weapons and not have them. You can't do armageddon on the cheap, Glenn.

High on the hog.

It seems to me if Tom had been married to Mrs. Mooser we wouldn't be having this trouble! (*good to see you made out alive from the dentist anyway, Mooser... cause 'when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with u.')

Of course, it could be Tom's ex. got fed up and left him first, Glenn. You never know about these things. (I, myself, lived for years with a female panther up on the north fork, but she never did get used to me.)

In any case, it seems Tom has been living high on the hog during the recent Bush feeding frenzy while the rest of us suck on pickled pigs feet. If we're lucky.

oink,

bah.

~Mike. re, just and unjust wars (the other day). Your're right of course, war is war. ...still, 'there will be no white flag above my door. I'm in love and always will be.'

Unjust war.

The closest thing there is to pure evil, imo Glenn. >"Kings speech is about the effect on the country's soul from being involved in constant wars."

I believe Kings speech is about the effect on America's soul from being involved in constant unjust wars. I even believe a (justifiable) distinction can be made between US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, for example.

There are two kinds of evenhanded people Glenn:

1 ambidextrous, deceitful, double-dealing, duplicitous, Janus-faced, two-faced, double-faced, double-tongued

marked by deliberate deceptiveness especially by pretending one set of feelings and acting under the influence of another; "she was a deceitful scheming little thing"- Israel Zangwill; "a double-dealing double agent"; "a double-faced infernal traitor and

2 ambidextrous, two-handed

equally skillful with each hand; "an ambidextrous surgeon"

Holy smoke ...

and mirrors batman. Another chip off the ol' block (like Dawn in the OLC?) ... and a lawyer to boot!

I want that guy, Rep. Alan Grayson, ... to get my $4,000 back. While he's at it, please look into the 363 Tons of money sent to Iraq early on (I've grown exhausted trying to calculate the possibilites).

~o/t re President Obama's "continuation of Bush policies" wrt Pakistan and Israel. I am saddened to hear this Glenn - I read Jaun Coles piece as well. In general, I think it's well past time to re-evaluate the entire Bush foreign policy.

Monday, January 19, 2009 12:22 PM

I should reiterate.

'time keeps on slippin' , slipin', slipin into the future. ... . blink.

So, now, ABCCBSMSNBCFOX2 wants to know "what will Michelle be wearing."! Hell if I know, but I sure it will stunning. (*& which would explain Barack's, if not Mooser's, obvious uxoriousness.)

What time is it?

~I tell you this about torture Ray Walker; assume an asteriod is hurtling at the speed of light toward mother earth. (This is actually true - I saw it on the Discovery channel.) I would waterboard Glenn, hisself, if I thought it would do any goo0d.

Monday, January 12, 2009 12:16 PM

I tell you no lies.

The amount of trickery should not be "mis-underestimated."

At his last official news conference Pres. Bush said this morning he regrets being 'mis-underestimated.' For the most part I agree - people should never underestimate the mis-underestimated.

I've been trying to pick-up 'clues' as Bush leaves office and he does seem (to me) a bit jittery. A tad uncomfortable ...with the transition and all. But he "really does" wish PE Obama all the best. Transfer of power can be tricky business, i presume.

Personally Glenn, I am going to hold my powder until 1/20/09, approx. 12:51pm est. I suspect then he will only have the Democrats to ... outwit. No small task.

Time being, I shall continue to assume any trickery, any 'bait and switch' going on by PE Obama is being waged for the benefit of ... others.

Of course, I've been wrong before.
