Before we move on to the next potentially hijacked thread

A liberal homage to the resident trolls, healthysceptic and their ilk

With apologies to The Major:

Gangster Computer God Worldwide Secret Containment policy made possible solely by Worldwide Computer God Frankenstein Controls. Especially lifelong constant threshold brainwash radio. Quiet and motionless, I can slightly hear it. Repeatedly this has saved my life on the streets.
Four billion worldwide population, all living, have a Computer God Containment Policy brain bank brain, a real brain in the brain bank cities on the far side of the moon we never see. Primarily, based on your lifelong Frankenstein Radio Controls, especially your Eyesight TV, sight and sound recorded by your brain, your moon brain of the Computer God activates your Frankenstein threshold brainwash radio lifelong, inculcating conformist propaganda, even frightening you and mixing you up and the usual, "Don't worry about it." For your setbacks, mistakes, even when you receive deadly injuries. This is the Worldwide Computer God Secret Containment Policy.

Please, please don't let the next thread be as unremittingly lacking in perspicacity as this one was.

@Shooter242 re: Surrender

Let me state it in a Southern kind of way:

You and your buddies bust into somebody's house and crash their party for no good reason and start bullying people around. These people give you the benefit of the doubt for about 60 seconds, then they ask you to leave. Suddenly one of your idiot friends hits one of them at which point they decide they are going to kick your ass right back outside and into the street. The whole thing turns into a brawl, things get broken, and then you finally see the rage and tears in their eyes as they start fighting you with everything they've got. At some point you realize they are going to eventually kick your ass out of their house. It suddenly occurs to you that they know where you live. A sane person will think, "What the hell was I thinking?" try to stop the fighting, make some sort of peace with these people, give them some money to pay for all the stuff you broke, back out of their house, go home and hope that's the end of it (knowing that if they behave or think in any way like the way you do, it won't be).

That's not called surrendering. That's just called not being a dumbass.

@Anonymous re: Who killed those 3000 people?

We were attacked by Al-Qaeda on 9/11. The nationalities of the 9/11 terrorists were 15 Saudis, 1 Egyptian, 1 Lebanese, and 2 from the Union of Arab Emirates.

The Taliban supported Al-Qaeda. The Taliban were in Afghanistan. We attacked Afghanistan. Al-Qaeda retreated into Pakistan, where they were safe and remain safe. We didn't follow them into Pakistan. Instead we attacked Iraq.

Al-Qaeda was an enemy of Iraq.

Much of the black market nuclear technology in the world comes from Pakistan. The father of Pakistan's nuclear program, A.Q. Khan, is a national hero.

Should we have attacked Saudi Arabia as a result of 9/11?

Should we now attack Pakistan because of its open support of black market nuclear technology proliferation?

@Anonymous re: Nuclear states of insanity

There are currently nine nations with nuclear weapons. They are America, Russia, the U.K, France, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel.

I personally don't believe that Iran should ever have a nuclear weapon. But, then again, I also don't believe that any of the nations that presently have one should have one either.

"If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merrier Christmas."

There is not doubt in my mind that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapon. They will eventually get it and bombing them will not prevent that. It will simply increase their determination. Iran is not the only Middle Eastern country pursuing nuclear weapons development:

In 2003, members of the government stated that due to the worsening relations with the U.S., Saudi Arabia was being forced to consider the development of nuclear weapons; however, so far they have denied that they are making any attempt to produce them.[29] It has been rumoured that Pakistan has transferred several nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia, but this is unconfirmed.[30] In March 2006, the German magazine Cicero reported that Saudi Arabia had since 2003 received assistance from Pakistan to acquire nuclear missiles and warheads. Satellite photos allegedly reveal an underground city and nuclear silos with Ghauri rockets in Al-Sulaiyil, south of the capital Riyadh.[31] Pakistan has denied aiding Saudi Arabia in any nuclear ambitions.[32] Furthermore, the Persian Gulf Arab states plan to start their own nuclear program, which has raised fears of proliferation. In March 2007, foreign ministers of the six-member Gulf Cooperation Council met in Saudi Arabia to discuss progress in plans agreed in December 2006, for a joint atomic program.

So, you tell me, who should we be worried about and why, especially where revenge is a motive?
