This is Salon

We were all hypnotized by Magical Jews. Cue Theremin sound. Gordon Vulcan has proof.

Seriously though, this whole 'water is wet' news flash is silly.

Why did they do this?

Why would they kick off the DNC roadshow 19 months before the election. Do they really believe that have that much more money to burn than the Republicans. Seems like a dumb strategy to start so early when they could watch the Republicans kill and eat one another for free.

Studio 60 was pretentious bullshit

It wasn't a comedy or a drama. It was a selfserious nattering canticle about how precious it thought it was.

Your claims are broad agitprop

I can cite sources to counter yours. That's neither here nor there. Do you know what a white butterfly is? Look it up. An interesting piece of handiwork from the people you support.

BTW I am first hand familiar with apartheid. I'd love to explore in depth your ignorance of it but this isn't the venue. In either case, you'll get your Judenrein Palestine. That much is for sure. An ethically pure Islamic state cleansed of the 8% of the population it seems, you fear and hate so much. I too will celebrate that day. At least it will bring an end to your clamoring hatred (yeah I'm laughing too).

Oh and for the record you are an antisemitc racist. Straight up 100% textbook edition. Thanks for your implied agreement. I don't take it personally. I just like to point it out.

BTW you never answered my question

What did you do to mark the day on Monday? Wire up some Katushyas? Smuggle some guns into Gaza to use on other Palestinians. Set fire to a schwarma stand somewhere? Rape a Jew?

I don't get it

what's really the point of a columm that exists to point out the comments that other people make about prior columns and to then smear them a little bit too?

Luckily Salon doesn't represent everyone

Else the election would go down in flames as half naked protestors with funny hats fought to keep Kucinich as a 4th or 5th party candidate on the Vegan-UFOs Are Real platform. I swear you guys will find a way to screw this up by insisting on marginal unelectable fringe candidates. And if you want to run the next Presidential election solely on Iraq and on prosecuting Republicans, you will lose. Not because those are bad things but because they are too narrow. This is not to say that the DNC can't screw things up by pitting Clinton and Obama against one another and then announcing their shock that either a black man or a woman still carries significant cultural baggage with them, nationally. But before we even get to that point can we at least stay focused like you want to win? Gravel? Who the hell is Gravel? Biden? He's done already. Bill Richardson is a diplomat who happens to be a governor this year. Please get organized. Or throw rocks at me for pointing out the insanely obvious. Because that's like, worked out, you know, so well before.

Sylvia

FDL is Firedog Lake, one of those precious breathless blogs that other bloggers fight over to write for or at least be mentioned by. It's the Star Trek convention equivalent of political discourse.

I'm tired of Curt Shilling wanting to fight everyone in the bar

I mean shut up already Curt. Stop being an asshole about it. Be happy you don't work for David Stern who would no doubt fine you $20,000 for dirty socks.

Liberal American (and proud of it!)

The RNC candidates will implode as well. But not for the same reason. I honestly don't understand why McClain is running or why anyone wants him to. He is nearly as hated by his own party as he is outside of it. The other front runner, Rudy, is an early lead but will crumble once the psychochristians get their funding in order. Expect to see a huge groundswell of resistance to him. Likewise and for the same reasons, Romney. Romney is also a carpetbagger. From Michigan with blue blood credentials. But grew up in the SW, went to school in Utah, and somehow wound up as the leader of the Most Hated Blue State. Plus he's not a fundamentalist Protestant. He might as well be smoking dried fetuses while he dances round the Bible fire with Satan. No they all have zero chance I think. But the RNC is happy to run on cruise control right now, raising some funding for the big push. Remember the election is 19 months away. The RNC was hoping for an early push from Fred Thompson but Thompson doesn't have the glint eyed zealotry nor the desire for a 19 month campaign. So it's murky. The Republicans will probably go with someone not running now. Maybe Brownback or someone equally horrible they can all get behind.

Let'sreview

A) He's bald. There've been no bald Presidents since Van Buren.

B) Like Van Buren he's ethnically outside the RNC mainstream. Martin Van spoke Dutch at home and Rudy's last name ends in a vowell.

C) He's more socially liberal than many Democrats. Or at least he was at one point. So if you think middle America is going to vote for him, you are wrong.

D) The precise point in time for a figurehead victim President is past. He might have been electable in 2004 if there were no Bush and no war.

E) A Republican candidate has to be rabidly insanely in favor of the Iraq war. Rudy is not.

F) A Republican from New York is suspect, generally. You never know when they might suddently become virgin raping Mexican marrying crack smoking Papists. I mean anyone from NYC will understand immediately that on September 10th, 2001, approximately every 'Conservative Republican' thought NYC was a modern day Sodom&Gemorrah full of blacks, foreigners, Jews, queers, feminists, liberals and did I mention gays? We all love abortions and non English speaking people. Didn't you get the memo?
