Sixty Minutes and National Enquirer

Between 5-10 yrs. ago, Sixty Minutes did a segment about the National Enquirer--how it does legitimate journalism, unearthing important and true stories. Apparently, it has broken some significant stories.

Ever since then, I've noticed at the check out line, that the National Enquirer has realistic and feasible headlines unlike others tabloids that write about 4-headed babies and the like.

If the National Enquirer says Sarah Palin had an affair, I believe it. Actually, I can't think of any story it has published which was proven untrue.

Booty is in the eye of the beholder

I'm a white woman who sees only a powerful, beautiful female. Never noticed her booty, I must add. Actually most photos I've seen have been frontal. I have noticed her flat abs and great muscle tone throughout.

Maybe we tend to notice in other women what we see as our own vulnerabilities.
