So it's still true

That Cramer is a two-faced, slimy shill for his corporate puppetmasters, still happily fleecing the public even after his fake-o handshake and mealy-mouthed fake apologies on Stewart's show.

I wanna bear Gibbs' baby

A Democrat with a spine and keen wit. About damn time, and I feel like cheering every time he serves a heaping helping of STFU to the media whores and those they carry water for.

Original article: Bill O'Reilly, dirty talker

Oh Loofah boy, could you be more repellent?

And the omniscient winds whisper, "No."

O'Reilly, I wish your tongue never moved rapidly ever, ever again.

The problem with PETA

This issue mirrors a lot of the problem with PETA, which on the surface seems like a worthy enough cause. They target local farms, like the South Carolina monestary egg farm, instead of going after the huge factory farms, and end up making things worse as a result of their misplaced sanctimony.

I sometimes despair of all the energy and useless action devoted to causes like this one that do so little to improve the state of the world. How much more could be done in an effort that truly counted and made a difference!

@gabrielle -- you are sooooo much more evolved than us

As I progress as a being, it becomes imminently clear that animals suffering for our shear pleasure is COMPLETELY out of alignment with ANY & ALL who believe in the miracle of LIFE, LOVE, FREEDOM and GOD [...]

Whoa, there Princess Smug, is there really a need for all caps when you're basically telling people that you're so much better than they are?

I guess there is.

It's people like you, with your superiority complex and wagging finger, that make me want to raise, slaughter, braise, and gobble up cute little bunny rabbits just to see you burn up with santimonious fury.

Why don't I just send the "Christian" cult Phelps family over to your house so you can feel what it's like to be told you're hated by God and hell-bound by some self righteous jerk?

You're not doing vegetarianism many favors, believe me. Any of you hectoring nannies are just pushing me towards more meat. Yep! More! Mission accomplished!

Code Pink -- all about the publicity

I had the unique displeasure of meeting protestors just like Code Pink during the summer of Operation Rescue in the Bay Area, and I was tasked with coordinating clinic defense between the Planned Parenthood clinics, the volunteers, and the local police, making sure the atmosphere was as protected and neutral as possible, allowing each scheduled appointment proceed as normally as possible under tough circumstances and making sure we could do everything possible given laws and first amendment rights.

For the most part, the coalitions we built with the more vocal clinic defense organizations (tied in with protest orgs) went fine, and they were a great help in making sure we had enough staff and communication in the defense.

But there were some rogue douchebags in those organizations that were not there to help the patients and their families. They were there to show placards even more lurid than the bloody fetuses the O.R. people were toting. They were there to scream and escalate the situation, taunt police as well as the antis, and frighten the crap out of the women coming in for medical care. When asked, nay, begged, to stop and consider the women they were NOT helping, they snottily told me they would scream louder and hoist their disgusting placards higher because they "had the right to". They were political attention whores who aided and abetted the Operation Rescue cause instead of helping us help women.

It looks like they, or their spiteful spiritual sisters are having SO much fun in Code Pink. I really wish they would find something worthwhile to do with their energy, but they'd rather be on TV.

A thousand times yes!

Go! And don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

I do think it's unfair to beautiful, liberal Austin, but that's the way it is. May the refugees from Austin set up shop in the sane USA.

Can this actually be a wiley strategy from Obama?

Okay, I'm a cockeyed optimist. But wouldn't it be great if Obama's continued support of too much government power was precisely intended to hoist the very right-wing petard that supported it in the first place?

I can just picture it -- amid howls from the right wing about the abuses, Obama winkingly knocks down all the abusive policies and citizen surveillance, saying, "Hey, in bi-partisan spirit, I agree. I'll get the government off the citizen's backs!" And they won't be able to say a God. Damned. Thing.

Man, if Obama does that slick maneuver, what a beautiful day that would be.

Re: stormfront.org discussion threads of how to use "Tea Parties" as recruiting opportunities

Heh! I bet their tiny rascist minds will asplode when they get a load of the Tea Party Anthem written/sung by Lloyd Marcus... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2H8xHFXC8U

Strikes a fairly reasonable balance... BUT

I have understanding for wanting to avoid prosecution for those merely following orders of the criminals who violated laws and treaties regarding torture.

But, what I do want is to prosecute those who gave those orders.

I can dream. But I sure would like to see Bush, Cheney et al in orange jumpsuits for their unspeakable crimes.

High protein goodness, low impact, non-cuddly faces

I'd like to see Mr. Moussaieff mount any kind of argument against the most earth-friendly meats of all: land invertebrates.

I'm talking snails (escargot!) and bugs. Snails in particular are amazingly delicious and about as free-range as they come, full of lean protein. You pick the snails off your garden plants and clean them out (http://www.nimisis.com/posts/eat_your_garden_snails_) .

So how about it, hardcore vegans? Seriously, these too can't be eaten? Good lord.

How many times do we have to say it? LEAVE ALREADY

Goodbye, and I don't care if the door hits your sorry ignorant right-wing asses on the way out.

Good riddance.
