I'm Laughing my Ass off!

This cracks me up. Good job, family values, no contraception, no help with daycare assholes!!!

And there was NO "CHOICE" involved here. There was/is nothing noble for Palin having her baby or her daughter. There is no choice, therefore no moral conflict. And definitely no choice because Palin doesn't belive in choice.

Palin believes there should be NO abortion under ANY circumstances. So even if having this baby would result in her daughter's death - there would be NO abortion. Even if her daughter begged for her life, her mom would just have to tell her to STFU and take it - nice knowing you.

If the situation were reversed the right would have a field day.

And it's actually NOT off limits. Palin and McCain claim to have the cornerstone of "family values" (which is rich), want to tell YOU and ME that we CAN'T use birth control (McCain wants to make it so insurance companies DON'T cover the pill - not to mention overturn Roe v. Wade), don't want to fund education or programs that talk about birth control - so, um, actually - this issue is very

ON LIMITS.

Ten bucks she'll be off the ticket.

@Greeneyedkzin

"She had a choice. Her mother had a choice."

Yes, they actually DID have a choice because of Roe v. Wade. Palin and McCain want to overturn it. So actually, Palin would prefer that NONE OF US have any choice EVER.

Mom's can you clear something up for me?

Anyone on this thread who's had a baby - can you REALLY go back to work 3 days after giving birth? Like Palin apparently did?

I'm starting to believe something is up with the youngest NOT being Palin's.

As usual, right wing christian crazies and their hypocrisy. Yep, keep teaching that abstinace only!

We should NOT let this slide

Since Palin and McCain want to shove abstinence-only (and refuse to fund comprehensive sex-education) belief down our throats, since they both want to overturn Roe v Wade...they want to shove their neanderthal, anti-science beliefs down our throat AND make it policy...your damn right we should be talking about it. And every time they say "choice" or that there is some sort of "discussion" involved in Bristol having the baby - they should be called on it every time. According to them they had NO CHOICE and they don't want anyone else to have any either.

1) I'm sure McCain did NOT know about this.

2) She'll be off the ticket next week with the "need to be with my family".

The conversation is not about Bristol - but her mother's policy positions.

If having this baby would be a danger to Bristol's life...well, I guess Mommy would tell Bristol to STFU and take it because we're keeping the baby.

And what about statutory rape? How old was she when she got pregnant and how old is the father - who now she's "forced" to marry.

No one will probably read this

But FUCK this administration. And I know they read this. So FUCK you Bush, FUCK you Cheney. Fuck all of you who have turned everything to shit. I hope you are all charged with war crimes and put in a cold cell and tortured, oh, I mean JUST waterboarded, for the rest of your shitty, worthless, miserable lives.

I am sick of 8 years of this shit. And anyone who votes for McCain - fuck you too. You deserve everything bad that comes to you.

Glenn, I hope to meet you one day to shake your hand. You're a great American.

Original article: Barack Obama breaks 50

Why Isn't it More?

Obama should have a much bigger lead over the republican fuck-ups. Why isn't it bigger? That's why I continue to worry.

Yes we SHOULD pile on

The right wing assholes and fox news assholes would have been piling on NON STOP if this happened to Obama or Biden. They say it's a "private matter"?? Bullshit. they are dragging these kids and this boy to parade them front and center at the convention. They are using them. Where are the so-called "family values" people now? Should anyone who said "leave them alone" be OUTRAGED at this?

Fucking nation of hypocrits. These kids are fair game because Mommy made it that way. What a shitty mother (and father).

AKA: Yes they absolutely are

When the republicans and mommy and daddy are shoving them front and center as one of the reasons to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket - yes they are absolutely in play. If they kept the daughter out of sight, fine, but they didn't. You can't put them out there as a "see? family values!" and then say they are off limits. Nope.

@sonofloud/gay rights

This is from the Human Rights Campaign about McCain's views on the matter.

His public support for writing discrimination into the California constitution – a measure opposed by Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger – puts him among company like Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council, and their bigoted buddies.

"He believes same-sex couples should never be allowed to adopt children."

"He even appeared in a television ad for the 2006 Arizona ballot measure that would have denied marriage and domestic partnership benefits to all Arizona couples."

"And he hasn't even ruled out writing discrimination into the U.S. Constitution with an anti-marriage amendment. At a recent forum at Saddleback Church he said:

"...if a federal court decided that my state of Arizona had to observe what the state of Massachusetts decided, then I would favor a constitutional amendment"

Great guy.
