But he did the the job, didn't he?
[Read the article: Shaheen resigns from Clinton campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Matthews of Hardballs just made the point that even the leaving and the apology a part of a pattern long known in dirty politics.
amd that all it takes is just a whisper to start an avalanche .... Now the big mouths over at the F** channel carry it even further: Faux is now reporting that through their 'Democratic sources' probably DICK Morris or Lieberman, "Faux has 'learned that it was African-American Clinton supporters who called Clinton to complain about the drug story."
Apparently from the Faux perspective it's no big deal since no whites were injured in that story????
However I wouldn't be surprised if Murdoch and Clinton don't have a relationship of 'some' kind we don't yet know about.

So many hearings, so little time..
[Read the article: Obama's European problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There are 10 other members on that committee Joe, including Biden and Dodd. And the subjects for discussion are decided not by one member alone, but by mutual agreement with other members.
If DeMint(R), the ranking member, or any other Republican didn't get a "critically important" hearing they asked for, they'd be screaming like pigs.
And if Biden or Dodd made a request, we'd have had a hearing.
Your personal attack on Obama alone, is a new Hillary tactic making her look as nasty as a Right-wing Republican -whom she resembles more and more every day.

But he did say something positive..
[Read the article: Bill Bennett knows black people]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama cracked the nut that is Bill Bennett!
I just happened to catch that exact moment as I flipped through the channels to get reactions.
In all fairness, which is a rare word to use anywhere near Bennett, he did show a great appreciation for Obama's win on Obama's terms -without ever once mentioning race as an issue. And admitted being impressed with Obama.
And he does have a point - Hillary did try to use her sex in the race unit she was promptly pounced on. Where Obama just used all of our past history as inspiration to move forward.
I look at this in a bigger context because I also had just caught a clip on Fox, where Hannity was trying to get
Senator Grassley to say something bad about Obama -Grassley said that "in the past two years I've been around Obama, he's worked very well with the Republican side".
Now as an avid Lefty -I was horrified at that -but isn't that the beauty of Obama?
He worked with the Right without every once compromising the base principles of the Left.
Couldn't ask for more..

Have you ever been to ElCajon?
[Read the article: Duncan Hunter gets some Joe-mentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]El Cajon is to an 'event' as Joe Lieberman is to inspiration.

Many of the bloggers took the DLC route..
[Read the article: On Obama, the Post ignores shades of gray]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama refers to the 'seasoned and stewed hope-less politician' in his arguments -something the DLC wing of the party also prefers.
Like the DLC is wont to do, the blog owners favored the least threatening and least controversial figure in the race -John Edwards, and have actvely ran anti-Hillary and pro-John Edwards pieces for well over a year.
I watched from the outside, firmly intending to leave the Democratic party and vote for no-one or for Al Gore if he ran.
Edwards, with all due respect, has the public personna of a pretty attention getting pony ideally suited to lead around town and have a photo op with.
Many of these bloggers, once attracting members who engaged in lively foreign policy discussions, suddenly turned into childish American Idol types contest -forgetting all about real issues -like foreign policy.
The exact same Obama phenomenon throwing the 'inevitable' Hillary Clinton ranting media into a frenzy, also threw the blogs in turmoil. Edwards was temporarily seen and used as the 'inevitable' anti -Hillary candidate.
The DLC, the blogs, and the media all wore blinders, and as Joe Trippi said, were blindsided by the speeding bullet that is Barack Obama.

Actually it was Chuck Todd ..
[Read the article: Does race explain the polling disconnect?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]MSNBC had several people joining in the analysis of what the hell happened, but Todd of Hotline infuriated me by being the first to bring up the race issue -suggesting that Iowas un-curtained event vs New Hampshires curtained event allowed racism to enter the darkened booth.
-We know the majority of Dems don't have a problem with race.
-We know Hillary would receive little Republican crossovers.
-And we now know Obama got a whopping 60% of the Independent voters.
-And we know the polling data on the Right was dead on.
-And we know the Right needs Hillary in their picture.
-And we know Diebold counts 81% of the votes.
What we still don't have -is the truth.

Like the N.H. election officials?
[Read the article: And sometimes, people are just wrong]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Facts keep coming out suggesting a tampered election...
1. The Republican numbers were dead accurate and matched the polls.
2. The Independents did turn out in larger numbers than expected for OBAMA -60% voted for him. Exactly as the Democratic polls predicted.
A poster on this site posted these results from BlackBoxVoting.org:
3. In 128 towns using hand counted methods, 83 went for Obama, and 45 to Clinton.
(b)Note that the same Obama to Clinton ratio is holding true
Now watch:
4. In the bigger towns and cities that use optical scan machines, 38 went for Obama and 59 for Clinton.
An exact reversal of the ratio. A well known trick easily done on the in the Diebold machines -which counted 81% of New Hampshire votes.
