NBC/MSNBC -We Wright All Day 4U!
[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]NBC and MSNBC are getting all their talking points/animal references confused. Preferring instead to play the role of gangly and ugly emus - whose purpose and skill no one has yet defined.
See, Matthews and Buchanan and Gregory and Abrahams and Contessa and the other little apprentice commentators argues Wright is an albatross weighing down Obama's candidacy to such a degree that he likely can never and will never get rid of him -and that Wright is soooo bad, he's' just gonna keep albatrossing up Obama chances to EVER win ANYTHING even though th albatross has been sent flying. (emphasis theirs,)
But then comes these same apprentices/commentators who believe a lame duck is not a problem at all to McCains candidacy and that the 8 years this duck quacked up the entire world is NOT a problem or impediment at ALL to his candidacy.
And, they further claim that McCain can easily overcome the effects of this sad lame mother of a duck, even though it has and will continue to quack up a storm and, in fact, has started singing and dancing.

I personally thank them!
[Read the article: Jewish supporters fundraising for pro-Obama ad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As an activist and Obama supporter whose primary concern in this election is our foreign policy, I thank the Jewish community for the ad. Perhaps a website to share opinions and ideas among supporters?? I so fervently hope this brings about a badly needed dialogue to settle a new rift in the country and within the Democratic party about the perceived Israeli domination of our Congress and foreign policy.
We need this union of concerned Democrats to tackle not only this fragile issue, but so many others like it. The health of our world and it's economy depend on healing this wound, quickly.
And if ever there could be - at such a crucial time in our history -a godsend of an arbitrator, it's Barack Obama.

.."Bungling"?
[Read the article: Voter suppression in North Carolina?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No, no bungling there. A mis-speak is a bungle.
In the real world you go to prison for that kind of 'bungling' because.. it's premeditated.
Ot is malicious in it's intended action to harm another.
When Chris Matthews of MSNBC says Obama "should go back to the hood" - that's premeditated and scripted, not bungling.
I am so totally embarrased and ashamed of all the media, of this new side to America I've never seen.
Where once I supported and defended the rights of the free press, to see it used this way against the public's interest is a grave grave error.
You bite the very hand that once fed you and gave your work. Even if I supported McCain I would be as outraged with such a bullshit bigoted slant the majority of journalists have adopted -all for the war profiteering of their owners.
You have 5 'top' stories highlighted on the left of me- 4 are 'social' rants about Obama.

Be careful of what you ask Joan..
[Read the article: Can Democrats learn to talk about race?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's interesting to note the timing of the sudden resurfacing of John Edwards and Rahm Emanuel.
John could have jumped in earlier to clear the record on this 'white vote' issue. He -a white homeboy only won his Senate race with 41% of the white vote. He should have, if he really cared about the country or the party, but he didn't.
Because Obama won 40% of that same vote. North Carolina gave a white man a 1% edge, completely blocking the bullsh** Hillary and Bill are spewing.
But this is proving something much deeper and darker. A far more disturbing trend has been revealed. It's the fact that the racism and bigotry is NOT coming from all the non-Democrats or the 'red' states. The line fed to us by insiders like Terry McAulife and Rahm Emanuel, while he controlled the DCCC, and by Chuck Schumer, still head of the DSCC.
Because Pennsylvania - an all Democratic voters state, in fact, proved the polar opposite of where the racism and bigotry really exists, in comparison to Iowa and North Carolina. And also explains why Hillary prefers and wins those states.
Thankfully Howard Dean's 50 state strategy and Obama, the very living embodiment of that same strategy, have crashed down every barrier the insiders of the party like Emanuel and Schumer have put up, where they used fear-mongering to cram candidates we didn’t want down our throats and forcing votes Democrats normally would never make.
Hillary can wait till Hell freezes over or another category 5 hurricane to blow Obama away - we’re still NOT GOING TO GIVE IT TO HER!! This is part of an argument on why that’s the case, that many voters are having about this election at Haaretz that I participated in:
“..Were America capable of coming out publicly to strip away the cover hiding the bigotry with the Democratic party long ago, Hillary would never have been the candidate...."
The silent war here in America - the real divisions- are between those hardliners of both the US and Israel who want and pay the way for the hard-line candidacy of Hillary Clinton, versus the rest of America, disgusted with the Bush and Netanyahu way of life and who seek a more moderate and balanced future for all peoples, under Obama.
And that war exists solely within the bowels of the Democrat party and is unknown to many.
But to those of us who have watched it happen- we say enough!
This is a fight now, for the Democratic party`s very soul.
Good v Bad. Old v. New. A soul who the majority of Americans are now coming to believe has been sold to war profiteers and CEO's around the world..
The users of the tactics of racism and bigotry, those same hard-line supporters backing Hillary to try and get her elected, pushed their luck a little too far this time. And ultimately culminated in the sad destruction of Hillary and Bill Clinton.
