The only areas of 'disagreement' ABC stooped to include were immaterial to anyone. Their researchers should be fired if this is all their work, but I suspect this was more of a 'surgically precise' strike dead against Obama by the hard liners of ABC who had interests other than who's the best leader for the #1 Superpower.
World issues were hardly touched.
A crucial world Treaty is being created right now for example, that the media has failed to mention -at all.
It's a historic Cluster Munitions Treaty involving more than 100 nations, and seeks to ban the use of those child maiming , flesh burning cluster bombs.
It's been in the works for some time now and will be decided on in 5 weeks in Dublin.
Hillary mentions Dublin a lot - but not this Dublin story.
WHY ALL THIS SECRECY??
BECAUSE RIGHT NOW AS WE SPEAK, Bush and friends are, in fact, secretly strong-arming as many of the 100 nations as they can threaten -not to participate. They're stooping so low as to threaten food aid to South Africa. It's not surprising then to find Britain and the Netherlands joining with the Bush view.
This is a real issue where the two candidates DO NOT AGREE. And the fact that the media has never - and likely will never bring the subject up is very telling in of itself. Senator Diane Feinstein in late summer of 2006 tried to offer legislation to do a similar thing - just to place a moratorium on their use not ban them, and only do so in civilian areas. Her legislation was backed by the majority of the world.
The bill was defeated, when Senator Hillary Clinton and a few other Dems joined with all of the Republicans to keep using them - knowing full well those toylike bomblets stay in the soil for decades, like little land mines, and target children..
Barack Obama was with the majority of Democrats and Senator Feinstein to ban their use - to protect innocent victims.

The 'whinny' and the profanity are added by me to what actually was a quote by one of CNN's pundificators, when asked how the "two Democratic rivals" should handle their 'rivalry'.

Hillary missed an opportunity of a lifetime last night. By everyones count it was 52 minutes of ABC enabling a repetitive attack on Obama, with only a brief 2-3 minute venture to the Clinton/Bosnia issue in between.
Had Hillary, say 25 minutes into the Obama bashing, got angry and flared up against ABC as she did in OHIO at Obama, with an angry "Shame on You ABC, for turning our debate into a sham by pushing such immaterial issues at a time of such world crisis". She could have established herself with one of the most valuable qualities of a great leader - humility.
One decent gesture by her in an otherwise barren wasteland of coldness to a man of uncommon character who's been quite gracious to her these long month would have washed away all the previous mistakes of the Clinton Campaign.
But she didn't - because she just doesn't have the right leadership qualities to ever be gracious to anyone - without a string attached.
she's the very epitome of how power corrupts.

But there are more issues here-
First, wasn't it was pretty decent of Obama not to contest ABC use of Stephanopoulis in this debate??
-A very heavy Clinton advisor and dear friend to the viscious James Carville? The media never mentioned that did they -and Obama surely thought ABC wouldn't play the FOX version of "Fair and Balanced". HOPE can sometimes bite you in the ass - but as the bible says to do -Obama just turned the other cheek.
(He seems to have enough hope -for all of us)
And second, when Stephanopoulis asked that question, he was fully aware -as a Clinton advisor and confidant, that Bill had had a much more serious involvement with the same Weather Underground group because he actually pardoned 2 of the very men that did the bombings and killings. With a heavy background in theology George was more than un-Christian like to edit that out for a more prejudicial impact.
But third and most disgusting was Hillary's feigned 'indignation' at Obama merely sitting on a board with a current College Professor -one formally known as a Weatherman and who was NEVER CONVICTED, and her mentioning "9-11" and "bombings" and "boohoo", "my city".. all in the same sentence, ..just for more of that Sephanopoulis theatrical effect and prejudice.
Not one damn time, in all these years before 9-11 or after, or as First Lady, did that womanever speak up to her husband about those pardons for CONVICTED FELONS or say one word or shed one tear for the New Yorkers killed in the Townhouse bombing. Nor for Pentagon or Capitol bombings.
To now to stoop so low as to using dead New Yorkers only when it suits her self-centered purposes, is breathtakingly shocking.
