  • November can fix theSenate -and fix em' good!

[Read the article: What's at stake today in the Senate's FISA filibuster vote]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The problem is that there's a small cabal of Democrat's who continuously clog the arteries of the Congressional Democrats.

So much for that 'bi-partisan' and 'centrist' bullshi**.

What bi-partisanship really is are Democrats who capitulate and cave-in to the Right. Because the Right almost never budges.

Chuck Schumer and Rahm Emanuel used their congressional campaign committees to cull the herd of candidates into just the right ones to pursues a specific agenda. Lieberman came back at their hands -to fill a purpose, -Hackett and Lamont were kept out -for a purpose.

Our (Democratic) defense and foreign policy agenda was the first to fall prey to their hands, with the Patriot Acts, wars, sanctions etc. following quickly behind.

We don't have the votes is right - because Reid and Hoyer got the votes they wanted, which were the polar opposite of what the voters wanted.

    We're screwed, temporarily.

Obama bringing masses of new voters into an election where 28 Republican Senate seats are at stake is a massive opportunity to override our own pathetic leaders.

    Help Obama.

  • Waters and Gray Davis? 2+2 = #@%$$#@!!

[Read the article: Who's Hillary Clinton's supersecret special mystery endorser?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Good luck with those flippity icons.

Makes Waters anti-war spotlighting look false

And Davis's deficit winning strategy got California's mellow liberals to throw him out of office.

Gray Davis was just on MSNBC trying to pump up Hillary -Bill's way, "South Carolina only had 48 delegates - we have over 400".

    Keep it up Bill!

  • Actually it's Clinton that's doing the only cackling.

[Read the article: Clinton, Obama campaigns fight over Florida's significance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In her 'victory' smichtory speech to the newspeople she used the word 'victory' about 9 times. But, when push comes to shove Obama -without having done any campaigning work - did better overall in Florida than Clinton.

She's about the only one who calls it a victory, because actually she's lost a lot of ground.

Even Fox told a different story that coincided with the other cable shows:

She won most of her votes from those cast weeks ago. Fox's exit polls showed that she won slightly less than half of todays voters. Were the vote based on todays voters only Obama would have won. ( as of about 10:00 pm )

She's also beginning to lose Latino voters -6 out of 10 average from early ballots to todays - compared with Nevada.

When they both start to cry, will anyone hear?

  • Clinton flying immediately in for schmictory speech!

[Read the article: Obama releases statement on Edwards' exit]

Snatching the very platform out from under John, Hillary Clinton thanks John and drags it home to mount in the Clinton Trophy room.

  • They have to ask??

[Read the article: A MoveOn endorsement?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I voted today in it today for Obama- but was surprised they even had to ask about Clinton. Since they ran that major Petraus ad and are devoutly anti-war (I'm one of those who would never think to starve our guys of their very defensive equipment as a form of protest) and Clinton is nothing but an opportunistic war monger, I was almost offended until I began to understand and appreciate their 'asking' for the views of others, instead of taking their members moods for granted.

Just a straight endorsement would not have been as credible or as major of an impact...so

    I too await the results...???

  • Interesting tidbits.

[Read the article: Pulling out the big guns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Richardson, according to Olbermann, will be watching the game -with Bill Clinton.

I never thought Richardson would go with Obama anyway, hes not that independent.

But here's a new tip for you... watch Arizona.

After a stunning endorsement from the hardened Arizona Republica, Obama has a great tv ad I've been seeing almost every day, but zippo from Clinton. Well there was one screechy voiced automated phone attempt from Clinton. But if she thinks the women and the seniors are enough to do it for her she may be wrong. Not with Napolitano and Caroline Kennedy on Obama's side..

And McCain is running ads now -in his own home state. That's a bad sign proving how low he sunk as a Senator here since he crawled to that Falwell kiss of death. (no pun intended)

Had he had to run for re-election this year he may not have made it.

Obama may about to win the most amazing landslide in November -stunning us all.

He came along when we all -both sides -were at our most vulnerable, personally. Sure glad it was him.

  • Paul Krugman has the best quote to date..

[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

On Tim Russert's show today Paul, poor guy, is obviously in support of Hillary but can't overcome -Hillary herself.

"Hillary really is smart, she's just not showing it..".

  • But Joe Lieberman scares everybody!

[Read the article: "Islamist extremists ... don't distinguish between Democrats and Republicans"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What horse manure Joe pushes now -"I crossed party lines to support McCain"??

The Dems threw the creep over the lines.

But Joe may contribute to McCains losing other voters who like McCain but don't want Joe. MSNBC reported that in Connecticut only 2000 people showed up for a McCain-Lieberman event - the uninspirational effects of 'Joes' bipartisanship' for you, and in his own home state..

Where Obama a Democrat, and a 'black' Democrat to boot, walked head on into the blazing red territory of Idaho -a place all previous Democrats feared to tread - and found 17,000 cheering supporters waiting for him, probably half the population of the whole state!

Joe and George Bush never understood that it takes a leader with inspiration to lead armies, not medals or rhetoric.
