It's time to go for a DETOX and slowly get over your INTOXICATION - otherwise the venom inside you will corrode your personal lives, relationships, friendships (and I am not talking political just personal) and finally your sanity.

Life will go on ... there won't be any miraculous improvements - no matter who is the candidate! Once we jettison our ethics, civility, rational cooperative problem-solving, focus on real issues - this country is toast - no matter who is the leader.

CLINTOXICATION - In small doses, creates a heady feeling and the viewing of the world through rose-colored glasses. This leads to the craving for more and ends up in addiction.

The promise of a heady feeling is replaced by strong headaches at the prospect of not getting what one wants, and the rose-colored glasses become permanent - depriving the user to see the world as it really is.

In large doses, very toxic. Clintoxicated people lose their balance and judgement to the extent that they will even proudly spout/ show off this venom.

Please begin a gradual DETOX program ASAP to return to normalcy & sanity.

The following activities might help - reading, talking to a variety of people, re-examining your life, old wounds and lack of accomplishments, and hopefully some positive things to return to when the addiction is reversed.

It will also help when you realize that there are actual solutions out there for those problems - and it's not just supporting someone who is milking your frustration for personal gain.

Do you really want these MESSAGES to be HRC's LEGACY -

1. RULES are for suckers - agreeing to them and then changing them mid-game is the NEW WAY.

2. If you cannot win on merit, whine, backstab, spread rumors / untruths until victory is yours.

3. Threaten to scuttle the ship if you are not made captain. That shows your deep love for the ship.

Imagine how these precepts (and I could go on) will affect our lives, our society and economy.

SO PLEASE think about it and DO THE RIGHT THING. I started out with a lot of admiration for Bill and Hillary - but gradually I have had to see (and weigh) the pluses and minuses.

Watch out for the covert sophisticated racists like perhaps the author of this column and several others from the supposedly "liberal" or "modern" or "unbiased" sections of our society.

By repeating over and over that this is about a Black candidate and a Black presidency etc. they are stoking the flames of racism as surely and effectively as it can be done.

When Tiger Woods wins, we don't go repeating that a Black golfer is winning.

SO LET'S LOOK AT IT THE WAY IT IS - A DECENT, SMART PERSON WITH GOOD CREDENTIALS AND QUALITIES HAS WON THE NOMINATION. PERIOD.

Should he be the President? Let's look at what he stands for (the policies) versus his opponent and their competencies. If you are denouncing the candidate's race OR praising it, you are not different deep down.

There, someone had to point this out. Time for some honest self-evaluation and growth.

One clarification - I am not saying that Black people should not take pride in his achievement. I am talking about the supposedly enlightened people from the other race praising this / framing this as a racial achievement.

My comments would apply equally to the gender issue as well!
