But not using birth control in that situation makes you an idiot.
Just to see Demetri Martin, who I love from his hilarious Comedy Central show, Important Things With Demetri Martin.
That is all.
is an addiction, not a disease.
Draper may be a nightmare of a husband when it comes to compassion and fidelity (though he is an excellent "provider") but he's far from heartless. Basically, he's a very selfish - and very "lost" - guy who simply should not be married. And we all know guys like that. So excited for Season three to kick off!
I attended a screening of this film earlier this week and just loved it to pieces. Streep is fantastic and Amy Adams is very well-cast. Do go see it and then head out to dinner at your favorite French bistro afterwards. Because you will be starving.
Yay!
I do love Judd Apatow, but @ NP NP nailed it: Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey and Robin Williams are Box Office Poison to me. I can barely fathom how anyone finds these guys funny.
If not, what's the big deal?
Yes! What a great replacement for Paula she would be! On another note, anyone who watched Paula's brief reality series on Bravo, Hey Paula, knows she's a serious, pill-popping lush. And @Tomreedrtoon, LOVED today's letter from you!
Everyone hates on The Fashion Show, whining that it's "Not Project Runway," but really it's EXACTLY the same show, minus the annoying Heidi Klum and the adorable Tim Gunn. Mizrahi is fine and Kelly Rowlands is also lovely if a bit dull. The Designers are all virtually interchangeble for every batch of Project Runway Designers every season, really. There is honestly no noticeable difference in the show's format, so it's all a matter of how much each character appeals/does not appeal to you; if you enjoy one you should enjoy the other.
having once been in a similar situation myself, is that your wife is having an affair. As long as you've got her email password and you've already ruined the trust factor between you anyway, why not snoop around and look for some evidence? Forewarned is forearmed. Good luck.
that she is even with a loser like this guy? A 28 year old woman with a 22 year old slacker? DTFMA!
Not over a casual affair after 12 years? Jeezus lady, my advice is to get some therapy or some meds - something you should have done over 10 years ago. What a waste of what could have been a good life.
I thank god I never had kids.
@ Jennifer C
Bill and Barb's youngest daughter is called "Teeny" not "Teensy" and I think they may have written her out of the show. Was she even in the final episode?
Can't be a very common name. I'm pretty sure I used to work with his dad (same name) in the office furniture industry here in NYC before that went bust. But this was a pretty interesting article and at least he and his wife don't seem like total sponges. Good luck to everyone suffering enough in this economy to have to move back in with the parents. That fate alone is incentive to keep me employed.
Then chances are excellent that he's already sleeping with other women anyway. 28 year old guys do not stay celibate when their SOs are half a world away. If you want to get married and start a family as urgently as you say you do, do yourself a huge favor and dump this guy sooner rather than later. He's already gone anyway.
I bought my flat screen from Circuit City because it was $200 less there than at Best Buy. But I also bought it on the web.
Did the LW say the pot smoking was making her husband's behavior any worse? Or interfering with the effectiveness of his meds? If not, seriously, she needs to build a bridge and get over it.
What the hell Brightstar is on about?
"Craig's List."
Guys should say "I love you" first. I know this from 30 years of dating and relationship experience. Argue all you want, but experience proves it's the right way to proceed unless you want your heart broken.
...of skipping over Cary's turgid, self-absorbed advice and going right for the reader's letters. It's nice to know some things never change. :)
To almost anyone over 25, going for 2 weeks without sex is not - or at least it should not be - any kind of a major issue. Geezus, I've gone years without sex and lived to tell the tale. But more than a few days without access to the Internet would seriously hamper my ability to do my job and cripple my social interaction, not to mention make it a lot more difficult to live without a car. This is just no contest.
For Mexican Food! :)
Wish that Cary had any clue how to "just give soem clear advice" without waxing on and on and on about his own addictive past? Geezus,it gets so tiresome.
Wow, what a completely tasteless and inappropriate article.
I appreciate and got a good laugh out of Heather's take on Top Design, but I love this show anyway. I just love watching what each designer will do with the challenges - the atrocious outcomes are just as much fun to see as the ones I think are really spectacular. And thanks for the link to the Mirror Mirror blog's critique of Kelly Wearstler's designs. Her work is hideous and her hair is in dire need of a hot oil treatment.
P.S. Preston should have won, and Jeff Lewis was he best guest judge all season!
People like "Bill" do not change once they hit 30. If his poor choices and juvenille, irresponsible lifestyle bug you so much, all you can really do is eliminate this person from your life. Painful? Maybe, but really the only option unless you want to continue to be tortured by watching him ruin his life, or whatever you want to call it.
