Pakistan Nukes

I think we should also be considering the implications of Pakistan having nukes. I think there is a far more immediate danger of Mushareff losing control of those weapons. Personally, I like to know what is being done to safeguard them. I think the "extremist" threat in Pakistan is far more of a concern than Iran's "plans for the future".... One thing for sure: The weapons are already there, and there is a growing radical movement away from our "friend" there.

Shuttle Jammed

I'll bet the DC to NY shuttle was jammed with Neocon "operatives" headed up to protest. It'll look good on their resume for Giuliani Justice Department.

Too bad we can't round up several thousand of them and give them the old Vietnam-era ultimatum: "Volunteer or do jail-time!"

Surprised? Hardly..

Pointing out the stupidity and crap that spews from these lacking minds is as futile as trying to sweep the sand from the beach. What do you expect? Through it all you've got that base 30% that goes along and/or agrees.

My favorite piece of the past week was in NYT article about towns having to back off their anti-immigrant garbage, and how in some places they just destroyed the local economy. It serves them right. "What part of illegal don't you understand?"

Glenn, I didn't read your "Mutiny" post until this morning. If you're still following the comments here, let me say that is your best work to date. I don't think you are overstating the matter at all. We are in serious trouble when there is talk of mutiny, but I think this is exactly the situation our Founders had in mind when they set down the Laws of the Land. Cheney and his gang have no regard for those Laws.

I have said before I would not be surprised if they do something to NOT have an election next year. Not at all.

Keep up the GREAT work.

Who?

Who made up lies to justify their military actions?

Who invaded a sovereign nation, based on false intelligence?

Who rounds up people based on ethnic profiling?

Who calls in the night, invading homes and terrorizing women and children?

Who detains without trial?

Who abolished Habeas?

Who beats people to death?

Who makes naked men pile up in pseudo-homo play?

Who beats people to death?

Who sends Blackwater death squads to operate without regard for the law?

Who sends remote control drones to murder from the sky?

Who beats innocent people to death?

What name would you call them?

Why bother with old names from the past?

Just call them what they are: NEOCON.

My Final Thought

We should take a page from Newt "The Fornicator" and work to "demonize" the term NEOCON.

Study his strategy that he used against the Democrats to the point that a lot of people still throw it out like it's nasty.

NEOCON LOSERS

NEOCON RADICALS

BLOODTHIRSTY NEOCONS

WAR MONGER NEOCONS

NEOCON WAR HUNGER

NEOCON POWER LUST

LAWLESS NEOCONS

NEOCON CRIMINALS

NEOCON MURDERERS

NEOCON PROFITEERS

NEOCON KILLERS

NEOCON BOMBERS

DANGEROUS NEOCONS

NEOCON UNDERGROUND

NEOCON POWER GRAB

NEOCON CONSTITUTION DAMAGE

NEOCON LIBERTY OFFENSIVE

I would say that words like Nazi and Facist don't have as much impact with those who are much younger than us Boomers.

Let's demonize NEOCON. Let's make it hurt!

Great Stuff!

That Podhoretz piece was awesome stuff. Thanks!

Wednesday, October 3, 2007 04:07 AM

Let it go

I say let these creeps spew all they want. Like that Amadinijad cat, their words betray their stupidity.

Free speech is either free or it isn't. There is no grey area here.

Wednesday, October 3, 2007 01:27 PM

Phony?

No. NEOCON redneck moron is more like it.

Elephantman

There are no "equivilents" on NPR because they have MINIMUM standards of LOGICAL THOUGHT PROCESSES, and your guys just don't cut it.

That's why you people are so damned unhappy. You want to blame everyone but yourselves for the mess you've gotten us into. What we see now is the result of BANKRUPT PHILOSOPHY and BAD IDEAS poorly executed by STUPID PEOPLE.

Plain and simple.

You've had six years of control of the administration and congress and you tried to hijack Justice.

You had six years and a terrorist attack and carte blanc to do whatever and YOU BLEW IT.

Friday, October 12, 2007 06:16 AM

Right On!

Great stuff, Glenn. As always. Who would have ever imagined;

I guess it's back to that oft repeated little "moronism"....."They hate our freedoems, so we have to eliminate them."

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 09:38 AM

Is It Just Me?

It sure seems like the crazier things get, the faster price of crude goes up.

Must watch FRONTLINE tonight. Suspicions will be confirmed.

Right on, Glenn. Right on!

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 10:21 AM

What Do You Expect?

Come on! Haven't we seen enough of this guy to know what a loser he is?

Does he deserve respect for his military service? Yes sir!

Does he deserve respect for surviving as a POW? Yes sir!

Is he a Republican Neocon Kook, with a fundimentally bankrupt philosophy and really BAD IDEAS?

YES SIR!

FISA Amnesty

Glenn,

I am a Verizon customer.

#1:What are the chances I can use their felonious crimes to get out of my contract?

#2: What about that guy from Qwest and the "insider trading"? Is that fallout from the politization of the Justice Department? I wonder if his name/company comes up in any of the documents that the administration is trying to keep secret?

Keep up the great job!

Wednesday, October 17, 2007 09:23 AM

Ask this, MF

"Would the next president, finding whatever fault with your service as Attorney General, be able to arrest YOU and hold YOU without charges or due process?"

Original article: Never mind

Time with family?

Yeah, before Cheney and W start WWIII.

Thursday, October 18, 2007 04:10 AM

How Sad, How Sad.

It's stunning to comprehend what has happened here. Not just with issue, but EVERYTHING that "they" have ruined. Stunning.

Thursday, October 18, 2007 01:50 PM

Count me in!

I telephoned to let them know that SOMEONE has got to step up and do something. This is shaping up as issue #1 with me. Like he says, when the Constitution is wrecked, nothing else matters anymore.

Friday, October 19, 2007 05:50 AM

Jailhouse Fantasy

Well, at least he has this wonderful night to remember as he serves his time.

Saturday, October 27, 2007 08:06 AM

Rancid

That sums it up in a word, Glenn.
