I'm with you. Yesterday, Froomkin over at the Washington Post had a recap of just how many times Rice was told BEFORE 9/11. They knew full well that we would be hit and they did nothing. I still think they said: "Let them take their best shot, as it will free us to do what we've wanted to do for years, ever since we got our wrists slapped for Iran-Contra. We'll use this as an excuse to enact our Project for a New American Century Revolution and Coup d'Etat."

Now- I think this most recent trip to the middle-east by W and Cheney was to finalize the plans for whatever is to come next. I suspect it will be a hit on the Democrat (sic) Party convention, which will be blamed on the Democrat congress, and used as an excuse to declare a state-of-emergency, and postpone the elections "until further notice"...
