Going to be kind of hard to get Bill back in the box now isn't it?
It's in Hillary's best interest for Bill to be civil. She can be/is a powerful well connected Senator, has a strong place in the party and might very well be on the majority side of the aisle with a Dem president. She's not particulary old either, so it would be dumb to burn, let alone nuke, bridges.
It would be silly for a temper tantrum from Bill to make people lose more faith in him, which only ends up hurting her future.
I feel for Bill, I'm much more combative and eager to take someone on if I feel my husband is being attacked vs. myself. If someone verbally attacks me, I take it with a grain of salt, it's harder if it's aimed at someone you love, someone that has stood by you.
Just get on with your "Yes We Can". Maybe you're referring to canned pineapples, Barack's from Hawaii, don't forget.
And yet, you're still here making fun of people that are enthused and inspired by their candidate, while people in Georgia are being killed.
Good job.
To tell the truth, it sucks what is going on there. 150 tanks and "volunteers" (Putin's term, not mine) crossing in to help.
Everybody is ignoring this, the stock market is sky rocketing on no good news, oil prices are plummeting, all is well in the world, while Putin is on the march. It's kind of surreal.
Here's the link for the Obama is the antichrist McCain ad article at Time.

sallywally, did you read the article? It's not an attack on either Obama or Clinton. There is no RW bias in that article.
It shows that McCain's Moses ad is not so subtly implying that Obama is the freaking antichrist. The ad uses many of the phrases from the Left Behind series, even when they don't work.
"If they wanted to be funny, if they really wanted to play up the idea that Obama thinks he's the Second Coming, there were better ways to do it," she says. "Why use these awkward lines like, 'And the world will receive his blessings'?"
Saying that we "worship" the messiah, the second coming, pretending we are enthralled by "the one", etc. all plays into the RW's ad and it's appeal to religious fear.
I'm rarely enthused about Dem's chances, but to see fellow Dems want to mock and disparage genuine excitement about one of our own (one who is sooooo close in policy positions to their own preferred candidate) is dumbfounding.
p.s. last time, I know there were BO and HC "fake" supporters on the boards along time ago, some of these folks were prolific and then just disappeared after things got worked out, they never managed to bash McCain, or even Bush. You know a liberal I know once called me a bad name....screw them, I will now call all liberals who disagree with me on any topic bad names, too. It will help them see my point, won't it?
Especially from someone who already knows how to win.
We Dems need more than a speech by Clinton at a convention to win. It wasn't enough the last two times and there wasn't this amount of rancor.
I like Hillary, but constantly being called an Obamabots or pretending that people like me that (now) support Obama think that he's "the messiah" are really making me disgusted.
I just finished reading an article in Time and seeing how McCain's camp seems to be trying to link Obama to the antichrist. The word messiah, the one, and all that crap. It truly sucks and I really hope that some of you are just asshole trolls. (and yes, I know that some of you are diehard supporters, I get it, not ALL are trolls)

I think this whole thing was trumped up form the beginning. I never heard Obama or Clinton imply that Clinton would not be asked to speak. There probably was discussion of when and timing, but that is happening with much more consternation at the Republican convention, too.
Aha.
I truly didn't know where you were coming from Sean, and your last post clears it up for me.
Now I get it.
While I think that Obama and Clinton share similar strengths and experience, they also share similar weaknesses that can be attacked by Mccain's camp.
I don't think either one of them would have enhanced the other one in a presidentail race against the Republicans, and that's who we are going up against.
Over at TPM they are linking to the following article:
http://www.propublica.org/article/ivins-troubled-but-fbi-docs-fall-short-807/
From the article, "Also, though it was not brought up at the press conference, initial coverage had focused on Ivins' apparent failure to report on anthrax spill. (That might be because Ivins actually did tell someone about the spill.)
The article also shows some disturbing things about Ivins, that the FBI did not follow up on.
Selective leaking might be a case of simple CYA and trying to hide embarassing FBI mistakes from coming to light.
