The pic of Miley and her dad is nothing, sheesh. Its a girl and her dad.
A symptom of the oversexualization of this country is that we are incapable of seeing men and women in nonsexual ways.
Its why men are afraid to hug their daughters or let them sit on their laps. Why female teens get so little physical affection because we have made fathers, brothers, uncles etc afraid to touch their female relatives after they reach puberty.
The man is chillin with his kid, I like the pic. So Hulk is putting lotion on his kid, its his kid. He prolyl bathed her and changed her diapers too.
I'm a woman and hot.And I think that there is some merit to showing women who are both attractive and smart. As an attractive woman it seems that anything I do to look attractive makes men think Im stupid. Its as if they think putting on lipstick depletes one of brain cells. So for women who are scientists and intelligent to take a stand and say "we can be smart and attractive and socially adept"is to me, a good thing.
Perhaps when we see that being a "typical" female and being science oriented arent mutually exclusive, that a woman doesnt have to forgo her femininity or the trappings of femininity in her culture, to do well on the job ,things will be better.
I make a point when discussing science with young girls to be attractive, not a model, but to be a role model. TO let them know that THEY can be scientists, of whatever sort, and still have a romantic future. IF girls look around and say "gee, if i want to be a techie, I have to be ugly and dress badly and neglect my appearance. I think Id rather do something where I can still be cute and maybe date". Minority girls especially, are concerned with being socially excluded. TO know that I can study computer science, date, marry and have children and Look Good, gives them hope that they can do it all. That it isnt Be a Geek or Be A Woman. Be BOTH.
Of course we dont want being attractive to be a prereq, but should being attractive EXCLUDE people. Men harass women if they are ugly or attractive, trust me. Are we going to continue to live in a world where we refuse to be at all attractive because we're afraid men wont take us seriously? Where we downplay our femininity, become pseudomales to get acceptance?
As long as women in traditionally male fields act and look like men to get acceptance, women arent accepted. When a woman can be a woman, like any other woman, and do her job and be respected THEN we have equality IMO.
she looks less like a toddler and more like a school aged child, as if she has aged perhaps from age 4 to 7
and i see a little girl with a round face and freckles, a very modest outfit and childlike appearance
whats wrong with their clothing reflecting current styles
in fact, she still isnt stylish
retro in the 80's may have meant the 30s, retro in 2000 may be the 70's or so. *shrug*
The preference chart seems about right to me.(Short and skinny is the worst combo, imo.)
"Sadly, our alleged dream penis must stay in fantasyland, because it just doesn't exist in nature. According to this chart, most dicks have a circumference of between 4.5 and 5 inches; fewer than 1 percent make it to the 6.5 "ideal" and no one makes it to 7. As for length, most hit in the range of 5.75 to 6 inches. Fewer than 1 percent of guys have a penis over 7 inches long, and no one on this chart makes it to 9, much less 10 1/2."
The "dream" penis doesnt exist? I can assure you there are plenty of them that are 8" by 6.5" when erect.
The problem is the rounding on these numbers is messing up the calculations. Some relevant decimals have been left off. When considering a population of BILLIONS, the difference between .02% (to just throw a number out there) and 0% is pretty large. The numbers under 1% seem to be rounded to zero.So there could be .8% of all men with 11" penii, but these charts arent that precise. Just dont make the mistake of assuming that a small number is equal to zero and saying something doesnt exist.
In percentages, its small. In absolute numbers, there are more than a handful of big peckers out there.
Your math is off.
Great answer, that could be me. I live in a small city where I do not happen to fit the demographics so there is no existing niche for me, and being a single poor parent makes it hard for me to get out enough to create my own niche.I go to work, I take care of kids, I take care of the house- no time for me.
And it hasn't always been this way, a lot of it has to do with this town and lack of opportunities to meet people, or lack of opportunities to mee LIKE-MINDED people. The nature of it, a car dependent place where people tend to socialize in homes with people they have known since conception means a newcomer may have a hard time entering a social circle.
I rarely encounter people who totally understand it, so I have to say THANKS!!
Does everyone associate lillies with virginity? I just thought they were flowers.
Some of the articles here lead me to believe the authors have some deap seated issues and anger to work on. I don't mean that in a perjorative manner either. Its just that the reactions to things that I wouldn't notice seem a bit over the top.
I figure they went with Lily because its a flower name also used as a girls name.
That was great.
