A Novel On Par With Walden & Moby Dick

No, seriously though, who couldn't pump that cliched plot out?

Two really hot, really smart girls (no fatties allowed in chick lit) decide they want to "plan parties" (no real jobs allowed either) and then magically get cast in a super popular TV show by an evil mustache-twirling "producer" with a really generic bad guy name like "Trevor Lord". Because, you know, naming the bad guy Dwayne just doesn't have the same ZING!

That's it. I am writing my own novel. Apparently writing the exact same plot over and over and using the exact same one dimensional carboard charcters over and over is not a roadblock to literary success, it's a requirement.

I Wish I Got 200K A Year To Shurg My Shoulders

I love the utterly blind, mindless and indifferent atittude of the Republican Senators.

1) We're experiecing a global economic crisis.

2) All local governments are experiecing huge cash flow problems and the mass transit system, which is by all rights defined as a critical infrastructure, is having trouble meeting its budget.

The Republican solution?

Shrug shoulders and dissmissively suggesting that someone, somewhere kinda/sorta oughta come up with something. Shrug. Shurg. They don't know who, how or have any suggestions on how any of that is going to take place....they just think local governments oughta "find" money elsewhere. Just, you know, find it. Because there is a ton of money out there despite the fact we are in the middle of a global economic depression!

(sigh)

All ya gotta do is shrug your shoulders, suggest someone else figure it out....and then go cash your check for $200,000. That's called being a small government conservative politicans.

Nice work if you can get it!

No intelligence, leadership or education required for that job.

Going Broke On A Trillion Dollars in Profits

If an insurance company can't remain "profitable" raking in a trillion dollars more in premiums then they pay out....then one has to wonder, "Where the hell is all the money going?"

Because obviously these companies aren't paying our doctor's bills so where the hell is OUR money going?

Or is the explaination much simpler: they are lying their diamond-encrusted asses off about how they are barely making a profit!

The CEO's of Cigna, Aetna and Blue Cross deserve the Bernie Madoff treatment -- lighting their Cuban cigars with $100 bills while our grandparents are cutting pills in half and living off dog food just to afford a CAT scan? -- throw their greedy asses in jail.

Hell, charge them with freaking treason!

Osama bin Laden can't match the destruction level caused by the insurance CEO's.

It's So Easy To Lie On The Internet -- Another Case?

Remember the recent internet hoax from 'April's Mom" where the girl simply invented the story of being pregnant and struggling with the decision not to have an abortion?

And remember it was 100 bullshit?

Now we have another blogger writing about a group of callous women basically making fun of aboriton and, hell, even bringing the young ones along so they can hate babies too!

And maybe at some point they even made him spit on the Bible and renounce Jesus!

Cuz, ya know, that's just how them San Francisco Liberals are up in that part of the country that hates America!

Do the writers of Salon.com REALLY believe that this party even occured at all?

What was the exact date of the party? Is there a single person there who can verify the events described?

No?

Cuz it's all bullshit just like the April's Mom hoax was.

People (especially the allegedly intelligent writers on Salon) need to stop assuming everything they read is real.

PS -- I just came from a Anti-Abortion party where they strapped a young women to a bed and made her give birth and she died! They all laughed and didn't care because they hate women and view them only as breeders!

(see how easy it is to just make shit up?)
