Is Britney A Musical Genius -- Or Can The "Machine" Turn Anyone Into A Star If Their Semi-Hot?

Does Brit choreograph her ouw routines?

No. Someone actually talented does that.

Does Brit write her own songs?

No. Someone actually talented does that.

Does Brit have amazing vocal control that few others can match?

No. She's average (to sub-average) at best.

Does she have a super hot body?

Okay -- I'll give you that one. She is hot. But then again she's only in her mid-20's!

---

Sooooo...who cares if the album is good? SHE has nothing to do with the music aside from lip synching, er, I mean "signing" some of it. The credit should really go to the Britney Team that spends countless hours making "average" look and sound amazing.

Thank You Britney Team! YOU made a good album.

As for you Brit -- go back to snorting cocain to deal with all the "pressure" of being a celebrity.

Which Is More Imprtant To Human Survival: Oxygen Or Water?

The "human rights" vs. national security is a bullshit question that presumes you cannot have both.

The fact that this question is being seriously asked demonstrates how infected we've become as a people by the neocons --- who truly believe both cannot exist at the same time!

"Well you can have a Consitution with due process under the law," sniffs the neocon "Or you can keep your family safe! Which is it gonna be? The right to sue corporations or the security to prevent your wife from being brutally raped and your sons throat slit ear to ear? You can't have both."

Actually, we CAN have both!

If I capture a suspected criminal it is not necessary for me to take a hammer and break every bone in his hands and legs in order to get him to confess -- because such tacitics don't actually work; because it diminishes me as a human being and because there is the possibility that I may be wrong and this suspect may in fact be innocent!

So why the f&^$ are we still doing that to a few thousands Arabs we randomly rounded up in Iraq?

None of this is necessary and none of it has done anything to protect us!

Pakistan is still selling nuclear materials to the highest bidder and we're breaking the fingers of some dirt poor Iraqi in Gitmo that got "turned in" by his neighbors as a terrorist for the American reward money.

"Hey," we said. "We'll give $10,000 to anyone that turns in terrorists to us."

Suddenly Iraqi's were falling all over themselves to turn in "terrorists" to get the cash.

And we took these random people (most of whom are totally innocent) and we're breaking their hands with hammers and screaming "Where's Osama?"

This crap destroys us as a people and it's a total waste of time!

My God, torture doesn't work.

Can we seriously argue that we lost Vietnam because the GI's that were tortured by the enemy got "critical intel" that made us lose?

Did we lose Vietnam because John McCain got tortured?

Is any neocon arguing that we could have won Vietnam if only all our critical intel hadn't been given up under torture?

Of course not.

This crap doesn't work.

What Hilary "Intends" To Do As President....

I like Edwards.

Is he taking a cheap shot at Hilary? Eh. Maybe.

But then again Hilary needs to be hit. A lot. Whether those shots are "cheap" or not.

Hilary says all the right things her handlers tell her to say.

So did Bush.

Neither one has any intention of actually doing any of those lovely things they are saying right now.

Hopefully Edwards will be successful in showing the huge gap between what Hilary says she is going to do and what she actually does.

We don't need another Bush in office.

Anyone remember how Bush managed to memorize his "humble nation not interested in nation-building" talking points?

The question is do any of us really believe that Hilary is a hard-charging hell-raising Progressive that will be a champion for all working men and women throughout the world? Is she the Progressive that will stop Corporate America from waterboarding every last one of us if we're one day late on our subprime mortgage? Will she have the guts to stand up to Capital One? Will she stand up the insurance companies? Will she shut down the offshore tax havens?

*cough*bullshit*cough*

But just try telling that to the editors at Salon.

I guess love (obsession?) is blind.

More Cops Paid For By Taxes Actually (gasp!) Worked??? But Bush Told Us All Forms Of Taxes And Government Are Evil!

Old Regan is spinning in his grave mumbling, "Commies! Commies!"

In 2007 it's easy to feel like a freak for actually liking government and believing the crazy notion that government can improve our lives if used correctly.

This is the part where red-faced neocons, stuttering with rage start screaming:

"Government is evil! Taxes are evil! Only Enron is good! Once we turn our government over to the corporations everything will be better!"

Damn. The only people that hate our government more than Osama.....are the freaking Conservatives!
