  • King King Was A Great Movie!

    [Read the article: "King Kong"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The interaction between Ann Darrow and Kong was brilliant -- it really semed like they were communicating with each other. Kong looked live and real and not only that -- his emotions were written all over his face.

Jackson made a movie in which it seemed like Kong was all alone, but then finally found happiness when he made a friend in Ann. The emotions were just incredible and so real. He felt when he was happy and when he was sad.

For those few people he didn't enjoy this movie that's perfectly alright. I'm sure there is some German art house flick playing somewhere that you'd consider "real" and that you'd enjoy much mre.

Anyone who wanted to see Kong will not be disappointed. They will weep when he dies. Anyone who went to Kong expecting to hate it (or were looking forward to pontificating about how much they hated) shouldn't waste their time. Go see Syriana instead.

  • Awww! Now That's True Love!

    [Read the article: Loser TV]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Take that Romeo and Juliet! After watching his girlfriend spit on him "in disgust" about his previous work (that obviouly prevented her form having sex with him?) we now have the most inspiring love story of the ages. Yeah, right! Could that little b*** hate him any more?

And if he DIDN'T have a new show on MTV --- does anybody think she'd still be hanging around? Nope. She'd be out the door in a flash -- but once there cameras started rolling she decided to stay.

  • Why Do Dems Think Its So Hard To Beat Rove?

[Read the article: Rove: It's the (eternal) war, stupid!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Here's whats so annoying about Democratic political advisors: they make $100,000 plus a year to give Democrats "strategic advise" and that advise is worthless.

Now I make $25,000 a year and even I can bullet point an election message that would get amost any Democrat elected.

    For example: Healthcare.

How easy is that? You couldn't find a simplier way to nail the Repubs on. All you have to do is set up the situation by asking, "Every citizen has equal access to police assistance, legal representation, fire and rescue assistance and a basic education regardless of income, gender or skin color --- so why should a poor cancer patient be allowed to die just because they can't afford chemo?"

So now we've establiashed that "universal access" to basic standards of living issues (police protection, the right to legal representation, a basic education) are deeply held American values -- not extreme "untested" and (gasp!) communist plots. Public eduation is a communist plot. And the police and firemen? The heros of 9/11? Are they incompetent socialists hacks who should be replaced by "free market security services"? See how easy it is to frame this issue?

Next, after clearly establishing that maintaing basic standards of living for all Americans is a deeply held America value (one that seperates us from the terrorists!), now we move in for the kill by asking who pays for a homeless mans life saving surgery?

Ah. See doctors (and we as a society) have a moral obligation to save lives regardless of skin color or income -- we don't let homeless people bleed to death just because they can't pay for their life saving surgery.

So when the hospital spends $10,000 on a homeless man, how do they recoup their losses? By raising the bills for everyone! So when a temp making $7/hr with no insurance never pays his $20,000 hospital bill the hospital has to raise rates on everyone to compensate for that loss and THAT'S why a bandage costs $20.00, not because of frivilous lawsuites.

Let's see: Dem Congressmen make $100,00 plus a year and they are all too stupid to make these basic arguements that would resonate with the voters and win at the polls. And their political "advisors" are also too stupid.

Rove isn't a genius, but standing next to Dems its sure easy to make that mistake.
