Carville is absolutely correct

I am so tired of reading about all of these poor scapegoats that resign over every little remark. As with everything else, the media blows everything out of proportion instead of focusing on what is really important.

Didn't we all learn that "sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me" in elementary school?

Grow up, people. Let's concentrate on the important issues.

For instance, what did Britney have for breakfast???

Questions for Sarah Palin

What's the story behind her wanting to ban books? Did she or did she not try to get the librarian fired for refusing to do that?

Why does she insist on dragging her poor children into the fray? Seems to me she's exploiting them for her own selfish purposes.

She had the choice to bring her Down's child to term. Why is she so bent on taking that same choice away from other women?

What does she know about the problems this country is facing and what would she do to fix them if McCain keels over and she becomes President? What about the economic crisis, the healthcare crisis and the war(s) in Iraq and Afghanistan?

How does being a hockey mom equate with being the Vice President of this country? She keeps reiterating that she's a hockey mom - who cares? Does that mean that any hockey mom in the U.S. is also qualified to be V.P.?

Scary!

Yee-haw...I can almost hear the music from "Deliverance" in the background.

Dear Democratic Party,

You people are an embarrassment. For almost thirty years I've supported the Democratic Party, despite the MANY missteps. I, until today, supported Barack Obama and hoped that he would present some hope for the future.

Now, I'm giving up. I'm not going to vote for any Democrat in this election, or any other election until the party shows a little backbone. Your letting the ban on offshore oil drilling lapse is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Obviously, this country will continue to be run by big business and the lobbyists that fund your runs for office. Apparently, there's not a politician among you that really cares about this country. You only care about winning elections.

And then what? Then you do nothing; you fold to corporate interests at every turn. I guess the idea of putting country first has gone out of style.

I'm ashamed of my party and ashamed of my country.

Why keep joking about Sarah Palin?

I'm afraid some of you just don't get it. Sarah Palin IS the joke. And John McCain is the punchline.

Palin needs to go away - now.

Palin just doesn't get it. Everytime she opens her mouth she underscores the reasons why she isn't qualified to be governor, let alone Vice President.

If she had anything on the ball at all, she'd be educating herself and learning a little about our country and its policies so that she didn't sound like an ignorant hillbilly.

A question of class? Please. It's a question of intelligence. Kennedy has both - class and intelligence. Palin has neither.

Say it ain't so, Joe...

Right wing pundits spreading lies about Democrats? Since when is this news?

Kudos, Joan. You're right on the money with this one.

Original article: Can Palin ever come back?

WTF?

This is sarcasm, right?

I think she's mixed up [again]

It's the insurance companies that deny care. So, just go through her little diatribe and, where she writes "Obama," substitute "Cigna/Blue Cross/Aetna/etc."

Idiocracy

When I read the majority of these comments, all I can think is that these people are emblematic of what's wrong with this country. Yes, Senator Kennedy was flawed. Who among you isn't? Senator Kennedy stood up for the little guy, championed civil rights and worked hard for nearly 50 years to make America a better place.

What have you done?

Wow

Palin should be committed.
