The GOP went hard after Clinton and now they control all 3 branches of the government, as well as the press. The Dems needs to realize that being nice to get along is not going to get you anything. Well, it might get you more corporate donations to your reelection campaign, which is probably why they are doing it. It is not going to win elections, however. They are being painted as weak by the GOP and they are acting like they are weak. This just boggles my mind.
"I don't work for Sherrod Brown and I haven't donated money to Sherrod Brown....."
But I will gladly plant one on his derriere.
Get a sense of humor! It was hilarious!
My GF wanted to see the movie, and I went along. I don't read comic books, and really was unaware of most of the controversy surrounding this film. I told her I thought it had received bad reviews.
I saw the movie.
Wow! It was fantastic. The visuals were impressive. The story line interesting. The similarities to our current government and media startling. I plan to see it again.
Now the older couple sitting behind us did not seem to like it as much as we did. They probably also had a "W" sticker on their car.
I have never been impressed with this reviewer's work. I am less so now.
His assesment of Iraq is as accurate as his shooting!
Can we expect a man who cannot tell the difference between a dove and an old man to know the difference between the 'Last throes of the insurgency' and a civil war?
About 1.3%?
Yeah, but Chipper was banging a Hooters girl at the time and was probably more worried about his wife finding out than about what position he was playing the next afternoon.
While I donate again to Ned Lamount's campaign.

While Bliss's routine was was cute, and took talent, it was nowhere near the level of Garfield's.
It is pretty easy for anybody to hold a beat just using a snare drum. That seems to be what Bliss did. Nice basic stuff that certainly was easier to show syncing to the beat.
Garfield on the other hand went completely off the chart. What a display of juggling. He certainly was in time with the music, but many of the tricks were so complex it is not possible highlight the main beat as Bliss did.
It is like comparing a basic rock drummer to Neil Peart. One holds a steady beat with no frills and no fills. The later has rhythms within rhythms within rhythms. Neither is wrong, but one takes a master.
Cynthia is sporting a very new hairstyle- she did not have it two weeks ago when I saw her in Atlanta at the Jefferson Jackson Dinner. She looks like a different person. The officer was correct to challenge her. And unlike what a previous letter writer said, she did not show her ID card. She breezed right by. She has always acted like a diva. Hitting a cop was just stupid. The correct reponse was "I'm sorry, let me show you my ID." The sad thing is that she is such a nut, the Capitol Police have her picture posted at all the entrances just to avoid trouble. That is done for no other Senator or Congressperson. If she had still lookedlike her picture, this probably would not have happened.

Scroll down a little.
I saw this a few weeks ago. The idea was interesting. Pulling it off was dangerous, and perhaps not real smart. The filmaking aspect was horrible! That would have been at most a D in any filmmaking class above the HS level. It would have been interesting to see this pulled off by good student filmakers and maybe with the help of law enforement. Maybe have a few highway patrol cars doing 55 to avoid the dangerous drive arounds? They were great video but somebody could have been hurt.
Don't try this at home!
Barry Bonds meet Tom Delay. Tom Delay meet Barry Bonds. Both are loved by their "teams." I could go on all day long and never get out of politics.
With pro cycling Americans have shown the same gullibility. Tyler Hamilton was busted twice on blood tests for blood transfusions, yet guys will go on and on about the secret twin defense and how he was a victim. Say anything about Lance and drugs in the same sentence and get ready to be hit with a pedal wrench. Mention Simeoni and Americans will tell you how the Italian is scum.
Forgive the guy on your side and vilify anybody from the opposing side. It is the American way!
Yes, the Tour de France is boring. The Giro d'Italia is always much better. However, Paris-Roubaix is probably the most exciting one day bike race, one of the "classics," and is usually pretty exciting. There is usually around 27 sections of pavé, countless attacks, great accidents, frequent horrible weather, numerous flats and sometimes a sprint in the velodrome for the win. This Sunday a contender had his handlebars just fall off his bike (crash), a railway incident leading to disqualifications that did not affect the winner, and the first swiss winner in a man named Fabian Cancellara just powered away from everyone including the reigning world champion. Yes there are some drug issues, but the classics are great and this was a fantastic event. Perhaps OLN will be showing the replay between fishing and rodeo and you can witness an engaging bike race.
Uhh, no family memebers fighting. You cannot have everything.
