You just have to tell her that you value your spot because it allows your guests to park there when they show up. Explain that you wish to keep it free for them and ask that they do not park there anymore. She may decide to hate you, but that is her problem not yours.
I live in a condo- where my truck occupies my second parking spot. I had trouble with my upstairs neighbor. If I shut a door too loud, shut a cabinet too loud or did anything, she came and complained or left a note. One morning my dog barked because her paperboy hit the side of the building with her Sunday paper. She banged on my door and complained, and also said that my "other activities" the night before were too loud. The young lady involved in the "other activities" was standing behind me at the time. Now, I would like to take credit for the "other activities" being too loud, and maybe even waking the people in the next building, but they just were not that loud. I explained to the lady that these were condos and sounds did travel, and that while I did live a fairly quiet lifestyle, I was not a monk nor was I going to be one. She made a smart-ass remark to me. I told her to go f%^# herself and to never, ever talk to me again. The next night she knocked on my door and I again told her to never, ever talk to me again. We have not spoken in two years. We ignore each other if we pass on the property. She is now the best neighbor I have ever had. I am going to tell all my neighbors to go f%^# themselves!
Don't be afraid to speak your mind. Don't worry what they think. You have a right to live on your property and to enjoy your condo and parking spaces. Get it over with and explain how it is with them. Explain that you do not have the time or the inclination to keep track of who gets to park when in your space between all the neighbors asking, and you do not have the time to make sure nobody is there when you need it. Therefore you are asking all your neighbors to no longer park there so you can have it when you need it. Then invite a friend over for dinner!
Yeah, sure he is making 6 figures. However, it is not like he has a job that he enjoys. It must be miserable doing what he has to do! You couldn't pay me enough to play a game every day, fly all over the country first class and have to fend of female baseball groupies! Sure he gets free uniforms, but he can't wear them anywhere else.
I heard that Cheney is being asked to find an appropriate VP. So it looks like it will be... Cheney!
I've heard that if you wear the flag pin on your right lapel it means that you're gay.
Right side means top and left means bottom- which probably explains why Republicans are always sure to wear theirs. How horrible would it be to be in a bathroom at an airport in Minnesota without the other men being able to tell your preference when you approached them?
I am looking for a special pin to wear. I want one that says "Empty Gesture."
As a resident of Atlanta let me say, this is the first I think I have heard of this. Let me, I really could not care. My company owns season tickets for the Hawks and Thrashers on a flex plan, and we just ordered all the tickets we could since there is no reason to save some for any playoff run by either team. As long as the Atlanta Spirit Group boneheads own both of these teams, nothing really matters. Both teams will suck until they are sold.
"We simply must balance our demand for energy with our rapidly shrinking resources. By acting now, we can control our future instead of letting the future control us."
"The most important thing about these proposals is that the alternative may be a national catastrophe. Further delay can affect our strength and our power as a nation."
Damn, Jimmy Carter was right! What a shame we let Republicans and pro business Democrats sell our country off to the oil companies, who drill on public land, sell us our oil, and do not pay sufficient/any royalties on it. We are paying record high prices and oil companies are making record profits because the market is no longer a competitive free market. The game is rigged!
The Clinton campaign tactics sure have changed my mind! I have gone form the "Probably Voting for Obama" camp to the "Voting for Obama and Hoping Hillary Drops Dead" camp!
I was in the "Vote for Any Democrat in the General and Would Never Vote for McCain" but am now leaning towards "I Would Never Vote for McCain, but I am not Voting For Hillary Either Because She is Just as Bad as a Republican!"
