I was an Edwards supporter. Hillary is my last choice. That being said, I hope she keeps on MSNBC. I wish other candidates would get on them as well. Until we keep condemning Shuster and Mathews and Tucker and all the other morons who spew this garbage, they will continue. Right now Hillary has leverage on MSNBC. Use it to its maximum strength and try to force change. Any time they say anything remotely like this, we need to use the leverage. The media is owned by large corporations. We need to use every leverage we have to try and get them to actually act like real media instead of mouth pieces for the rich. Hammer away Hillary! She won't get my vote in the primary, but I will vote for any Democrat in the general.
I was curious to read the tattoo artists thoughts. Some want their work to be permanent, but is any art really permanent. Others might like the ink because it could indeed help business. I would never get a tattoo with permanent ink. I might get one with removable ink, however. Some tattoo artist could make money from me he would not have made before.
Funny hearing about how people make a choice and they should live with the results forever. I never hear people with herpes talking about how results of a choice should be forever. I think not having to live with the results forever is a good thing. Thank Ged I was not stuck in the field of my first college major forever.
From nkennedy - "Yet another Salon fluff piece. It's not even like it's a slow news week or anything."
Well, if you do not like the articles, why don't you go the f%ck away and quit reading. Not everybody reads Salon because they want to read what you think is important. I read it for news I do not get anywhere else, yet I also read it for other stories I am interested in that I may not see elsewhere- or covered like they might not be covered elsewhere. I like a variety and I like leisure/lifestyle stories. I don't like all the stories, but I just do not read the ones I might not be interested in. What I don't like is whiny f%cking babies like you who piss and moan and gnash their teeth when an article they don't think is important is published. Don't read the damn thing and spare us your whine! Is it that f%cking hard to figure out?
1. NADER DID NOT CAUSE GORE TO LOSE THE ELECTION!!!
Actually he did. There are many things that if reversed, give Gore the presidency.
1. Nader
2. Butterfly ballot
3. Lieberman
4. Florida voter purge
5. Partisan Supreme Court
If Nader had not run, or had not run in Florida, the Supreme Court does not get a chance to overturn the vote. The same is said about the butterfly ballot, Lieberman and the voter purge. However, do not kid yourself. Nader is one of the reasons Gore did not get what was rightfully his- the presidency. Without Nader screwing things up, Gore wins outright.
And remember, in 2004 it was the GOP who raised money and collected signatures for Nader. It will be them doing it again. Ask yourself why. It is not that complicated.
Like I've said several times before - get a clue or you're going to keep snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Who needs to get a clue? You blindly overlook all the facts, insult others and expect us to believe you just because you can post continually. However, I have to admit, if you are a paid troll, which you certainly seem like, you are stirring up some dust. Not good dust, because Ralph looks more like an GOP plant with every post of yours. Lets see how many more posts throughout the day you can submit on this. I guess it is going to be a lot.
From concern troll anonymous: But no doubt it won't be heard HERE as the fringe left races in to trash all things religious and Christian.
We have no desire to trash all things religious. If you are religious, good for you. Just quit trying to cram it down my throat, into my government and into my schools. Take the time to raise your own kids religiously and quit asking the government to become a "Nanny Government" and do it for you.
From handbiter: One of the big reasons that Evangelicals vote Republican is that Republicans don't talk about religious people as if they were a big unthinking monolith of low-class crap (and yeah, this is about class-identity too).
No, they just pander and lie to them. They tell them they are religious and have values just like them, then they have affairs on their wives, divorce their wives to marry their mistresses, blow other men in public restrooms, then vote against the economic best interests of most of the religious right to give more power, money and influence to corporations. Until the religious right, also known as rubes, becomes smart enough to see what the GOP is doing, I don't want them in my party. We have a big tent, but the stupid people need to wait outside in the rain.
I did not blow.... er wait. I was not in a bathroom... um, no. I didn't do anything wrong!
And please ban abusive posters with names. I have been all over my local paper about the abusive posts on their website, and just no longer bother to read any comments there. It is a shame to let a few ruin the ability to share opinions and ideas. Thank you for stepping up! I am a long time subscriber and value Salon greatly- to much to watch the discourse go much further south.
Man this is horrible. How can I post on the SYA threads and share about my horrible hemorrhoid problem that Jeff Gannon helped me discover?
Sincerely,
Karl Rove
