When it matters.....

Lieberman will vote with the Democrats when his vote does not matter. When the vote matters, he will vote with the GOP, like during SCOTUS confirmations. So comparing how many times he votes with Democrats and how many times he votes with Republicans will not give a true picture. When the chips are on the line and his vote will make a difference, he always votes with the GOP and Bush.

Original article: Are men spoiled rotten?

I find this a little funny!

I am 45 year-old male and tend to look in the age range of very late 30's to late 40's for prospective women partners. I am interested in a LTR. Finding a woman in that age range who does not want children is almost impossible. I am amazed at the number of women in their late 40's who still want to have kids.

I love kids but have no desire to have my own. I would prefer not to date a woman who has very young children. I have no problem dating a woman with older children. It seems that many women with kids still want another. Maybe we need a new dating site- Peoplewhodonotwantkids.com.

As far as older women dating younger men. Again, I have trouble finding women who are interested in that. I am 45 but I look much younger. I still, and probably will always, look boyish. I have been called attractive by many women, and I am not talking about family members. I am probably in the best shape of my life. However, it seems a lot of women want an older looking burley type guy. That is not me. That will never be me. I will never have a hairy back nor a beer gut. I have been told I will always have all my hair.

I was telling a lady the other night that dating is hard, but almost all literature, music and art, evolves out of unrequited love. It has been that way for all the history of mankind. We are no different than our ancestors and will always go through these experiences.

A few weeks ago I was on a second date with a woman I thought had great potential. We were close in age, had similar experiences and beliefs, could make each other laugh like fools, and spent hours just hanging out on our first two date. I was excited about the possibilities. About 14 hours after almost sucking my tonsils out of my throat, she sent me an email listing all of the reasons she should date me but said she couldn't because she did not get that feeling in the pit of her stomach "bad boys" gave her. Years ago when I drank, partied, screwed any female I could and cared only about myself, I would have given her that feeling. Now that I am a changed man, I guess I no longer can.

All of my close friends who are married will never, ever get a divorce. They live vicariously through my dating experiences and never ever want to go through this crap themselves.

Dating is hard, however I think it beats not dating. And then there is always hope. Maybe one day everything will click.

You got in the letters late. Your information is actually the old info. Look at the date on your URL for the Rasmussen information. It was from July 26th and you wrote on July 30th. Much more accurate information has since come out. Most of what McQuaid said turned out to be incorrect. He said Rasmussen admitted to lying. Rasmussen has since stated he had not lied. The only information suggesting that he was in Italy was one former cyclist and supposedly a picture, which I mentioned and explained why it really was of no use.

You may get your information from a wide variety of sources, but you are still not getting it right.

I'm not surprised

I am convinced that many of the elected Democrats are Republican plants. They go into office knowing they are going to vote with the GOP on important issues, and try to fool the Dem voters by backing meaningless crap. We know about Lieberman, but we have others who support the GOP when push comes to shove. This piece of legislation exposed many of them. We need to primary these f*ckers and get real progressives in there. No more DLC and no more "converted Republicans" should be supported. We need elected officials who think that people are more important than corporations and the government.

She is right

Clinton and Obama will get a lot of press because of their sex and race. She just stated the truth. The MSM likes stories like the first woman or the first black man to do something. The first woman with a shot at winning the Indy 500 got the Indy League a ton of press. The first black racer in NASCAR got some press for being the first. It happens. A white guy running for president? Been done a few times.

Never Been Done Before

You mean people are going to try and dig up stuff on Bill Clinton to smear him? Why didn't the GOP think of doing that before?

I'm sorry, but what else could be left? A pack of viscous dogs went after him once with a $70 million budget. Does anybody think there is anything left to find?

Biden

Can you we just unilaterally take Biden off the Table? A guy who is bought and paid for by credit card companies and most corporations should not even be in the primary. Although Hillary is pretty pro-corporation as well, just like her husband.
