Oops.

"I'll take Political Kiss of Death for $200 Alex."

Actually, Kos picked Lamont for the primary. I don't believe he picked him for the general election.

Kos did pick a bunch of Dem House candidates, as well as supported and helped raise money for them by supporting them with his blog, Daily Kos. Damn near all of them won, even the ones in supposedly safe red districts. Kos has also picked winners previously. However, he is not a prognosticator, he is a person interested in helping progressive Democrats take back the country. Not everybody he supports is going to win, because then it wouldn't be an election, would it? The guy does have a lot of insight, however.

Well.....

If a thief learned about the lock picking videos by watching the Fox News' report, then watches the videos, learns how to pick a lock and uses his new talent to break into my house, I get to sue Fox News since the thief learned how to pick locks because of Fox News! Sweet!

How can they live with themselves?

Original article: Who's the Bush now?

Please!

he's just upset that all the liberal assholes like you hurl constant personal insults at him and all the members of his family. Ya think?

Yeah, like you raging conservatives would never ever do that to a president or former president. Please look up the hypocrisy in the dictionary.

The press.

The reason I ask is that we are after all already in the grips of an inexperienced Chief Executive who's only road to victory happened to be a Press Corp that didn't do its job!!!

The press always does its job to screw... I mean report on anything the Democratic candidate says or what might be in the Democratic candidates past. If Obama is inexperienced, the press will be shouting it from the rooftops just like they would if they thought he got a $200 haircut on an airplane.

A Republican candidate, however, will get a free pass again.

Hmmmm.

"Well it's no one's business. That's why it's anonymous!"

"So I want to tell everyone by way of your magazine...."

The last 2 of the 12 Traditions:

11. Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films.

12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.

It is anonymous to protect AA, not the individual. No if little miss blabbermouth goes out and gets drunk again, which is very common with new members, everybody will be saying that AA does not work. Lovely!

Why you ask?

Sidarth writes only three words. "I am macaca." Sabato lets him in. "When you have the right stuff, you don't need to brag," the teacher explains. "A simple declarative sentence will do."

This is really troubling. People are fighting to get into a class, and proving they have the qualities to deserve a place in it, and some guy gets in because he (not with any technical facility, it appears) operated a camcorder?

I think he got in because he was engaged. He was not at home watching TV, playing keyboard commando or fiddling with Nintendo. He was not reading textbooks thinking about theory. He was out participating in politics and because of that, made a difference. His professor knew who he was not because he was a celebrity, but because he had gotten involved. He used his time away from class to try and make a difference, and in the end he did. With all of that, all he needed to write was "I am macaca" to explain why he should be in the class.

Let them fight!

If they would let them fight, like in hockey, I might actually watch a game or two. I think if the refs let them fight, those guys would be a lot more civil to each other. Guys would think twice about hard fouls as well, since they know they are going to pay for it. And not in fines, but in lost teeth and possible career ending injuries. Lets see how tough the guys are going to be if they know the refs are not going to stop anything that gets started.

Of course the league might need to erect a fence or glass, like in hockey, to keep the combatants on the floor.

Paul in KY Stupid

Dude, if you took my comments seriously you need to get your head checked out!

Maybe you don't know this, but your average NBA player is a tad larger than yout(sic) average hockey goon.

Large does not mean lethal. I would bet on any 6'3" "goon" over a 6'10" basketball player any day.

(Did you know Firefox 2.0 has a cool spell-checker so you don't look even more stupid by calling somebody dumb with spelling errors?)

Paul in KY reall stupid!

Yup, having a spelling error in a post surely delegitimizes any point the poster was trying to make.

No, it was the fact that accepted something as serious that wasn't meant to be and then started insulting people over it. The spelling error just was ironic in context to your statements (Look up "ironic" and "context" at dictionary.com).

Uhh, and enforcers in the NHL are not 5'11". They are usually 6'2" to 6'5" and have lightning quick reflexes, great balance and throw punches very well. NBA stars should be wary of them and rugby players. As another letter writer asked when was th last time you saw a NBA player land a real punch? You should think about it.

I will say this for NBA players, they are up on you in the smarts department!
