Florida!

Who can honestly be surprised at anything that happens in Florida?

I guess Kerry forgot his roots. If Kerry had a backbone, he would have calmed the situation down and told the police to back off as they approached. Sadly, Kerry does not have a backbone any longer.

Pfffft

Fox could have dropped the word, instead the dropped the phrase. It had nothing to do with profanity, it had to do with stifling anti-war sentiment. More Republican cowards afraid of free speech, just as they are usually scared of fighting the war themselves.

Base.

I have to think that this is the GOP pandering to its base. I can see the majority of Republicans as SUV driving, overweight, religious types who hate to see anything other than cars on their roads! Pointing them out to blame for the collapse of the infrastructure and a reason why taxes can't be cut will resonate with them.

When I cycle inside the perimeter in Atlanta, I am treated fairly well by drivers. When I cycle outside the perimeter, I am much more likely the be harassed. The perimeter is pretty much the blue red divide. Making cyclists another bogeyman for the GOP is just another political ploy.

What he really wants....

More time for private corporations to get filthy rich off tax payer's money, as it gets funneled indiscriminately and without oversight into the "war effort."

And...

Hey Tim, back off! Larry Craig takes his time when it comes to panicking.

He also takes his time when it comes to using the bathroom in public, evidently.

Good News and Bad News

President Bush, the bad news is that a Republican congressman has passed away. The good news is that he was not in a public restroom, he was not with a male or female prostitute, no dogs were harmed, he was not snorting drugs off a naked body, he was not outing a CIA covert agent, and the police were not trying to arrest him at the time. We also feel it is unlikely that he will change his mind about this. Oddly, he has also been offered 4 lobbying jobs on K street since this was reported.

Successful!

A successful trip to Iraq for George would be one that was announced in advance with a published itinerary that included an overnight stay and a stroll through a market outside of the Green Zone. Pull that off and we'll talk.

Divorce?

Surely a divorce filing is under way. His wife could take him to the cleaners right now. He would end up poor, homeless and living in public restrooms, which he might not mind.

Playing.

Lets see what Shuab does for a whole season before we draw any comparison to Vick.

Well lets see, Schaub will be playing this year. Vick may be playing in the penal league. There is that comparison. Schaub will be a much better NFL quarterback this year, I guarantee.

Schaub has not flipped off the crowd. He has not been caught carrying a bottle with a little compartment. As far as I have heard, he has not given a young lady herpes. He has not viciously killed any dogs that I know of. There are those comparisons.

Schaub has shown great poise whenever he has played. The Texans are real happy right now, a few games into pre-season. Many long time Falcon fans thought the wrong quarterback was traded.

Sadly...

Vick was not even the best quarterback on the Falcons. The best quarterback was traded to the Texans. That would be Matt Schaub. Lets see how good he performs this year.

Vick needs to do hard time on this. No minimum security crap. He needs to go in and have to fight for whatever he gets. He was forcing dogs to fight for their lives and killing them if he did not think they could do that. I have no problem seeing him dropped into a penitentiary and having to scramble for everything he gets like any other convict.

We also need to make sure that all young men, of any race, come to understand that fighting dogs is not cool and can cost you a lot.

Dear Cary

My new girlfriend makes the strangest sounds when she orgasms. She sounds just like Curly of the Three Stooges. I would not mind too much, but she tends to poke me in the eyes at the same time. I rarely have time to get my hand up to block her. Any suggestions?

Political Operative

Yeah, he may be a fairly good political operative who can slime anybody at will, but my grandmother could beat the living crap out of him without dropping her can of Ensure. I am sure that happened to him often in middle and high school.

Pitching

A guy I used to work with was drafted out of college by the KC Royals. He was a good ball player with a good glove and great wheels. He told me he saw his first major league change up and he packed his bags and went home. He had played baseball his whole life and loved the game. He also had a college degree and a dose of reality.

Good story.

Biden

Can you we just unilaterally take Biden off the Table? A guy who is bought and paid for by credit card companies and most corporations should not even be in the primary. Although Hillary is pretty pro-corporation as well, just like her husband.

Never Been Done Before

You mean people are going to try and dig up stuff on Bill Clinton to smear him? Why didn't the GOP think of doing that before?

I'm sorry, but what else could be left? A pack of viscous dogs went after him once with a $70 million budget. Does anybody think there is anything left to find?
