Original article: What Pennsylvania tells us

It is over! It has been over for some time.

By my count she picked up 20 delegates, she is 118 behind. She is not going to catch him, either in delegates or popular votes. That this race is still contested is a fiction manufactured by the media. She certainly must know this. If her donors know it, she is out of business, because she is out of money. He is sitting on 40 mil. End of story.

Clinton is dreaming

Basically I would say, with all due respect, DUMBASS. Obama broke Clinton's bank in PA and he is still sitting on 40 mil. He has a delegate and vote lead that she will not erase. She is dreaming. It is over.

The Double Talk Express

John McCain takes every opportunity to masquerade as a maverick, the Corporate Media takes every opportunity to give him a pass.

McCain builds his image on illusion and myth. The straight talk express is nothing but double talk.

This article, fortunately bucks the trend and rightly reveals the hypocrisy.

Glenn Greenwald today, also penetrates the myth in his piece on McCain's treachery in his support of the infamous Military Commissions Act of 2006.

The more attention that is paid to McCain's treachery, the better informed the American electorate will be.

McCain is a candidate of duplicity.

It is over.

It has been over for sometime.

Clinton for SC

Hillary Clinton for Justice of the US Supreme Court!

War profiteering is the motive.

This 'war' stemmed from a false pretext. It was not about security, it was about war profiteering.

The Pentagon Propaganda Program was about maintaining the lie.

It will hardly be surprising to me to learn precisely that the White House was at the helm. It is necessary and kudos to all who work to uncover this treachery.

Veep Not

Clinton used the word 'assassination'. That disqualifies her in my estimation.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 02:41 AM

Assassination talk ex post facto

Clinton cannot be the VP. Forget it.

Liberal Media - Not!

It is the 'Liberal' Media as it is the 'War' in Iraq.

There is a relation.

Glenn Greenwald writes a compelling response to Barack Obama's NEW position

Kudos

Friday, June 27, 2008 09:03 AM

Greenwald is in excellent form, Olbermann is not.

This FISA revision is a travesty.

Olbermann said that Obama did not 'cower' to the 'left'. The left which Obermann, like Obama, was pretending to be part of.

The reversal in the position of Obama is a travesty and Obermann's characterization of that reversal is a travesty.

We have two political parties, a right wing party, and an ultra right wing party.

Fear mongers 1 - US Constitution 0.

Kudos

Kudos again for serious and thought provoking work in this ongoing struggle.

The Corporate Media

The Corporate Media only wants a country safe for further media consolidation. Nothing else.

Thank you Glenn for your perseverance and fortitude.

You are a shinning light in a darkening night.

Insanity

I cannot think of another word to describe this.

Card Check

The Right Wingers call the it Card Check legislation but it is formally known as the 'Employee Free Choice Act'. Employees now can unionize when a majority have signed a card to that effect but currently the employer can choose to accept or refuse it. If they refuse it a formal election is held within 90 days supervised by the National Labor Relations Board.

As it stands now, within that ninety days, the all too typical employer will have fired the employee union organizers and intimidated the remainder of employees out of voting for a union.

Employers hate unions because they are effective. Employers do everything they can to intimidate their employees out of seeking a union in the first play or voting for one if it ever gets that far. They foist endless propaganda about the evils of unions, about the evils of union management.

In all human affairs, there are failures because of human nature, unions are no exception. But it can easily be demonstrated that they succeed in improving conditions and pay for their members far beyond whatever small financial cost there is to those members.

The Employers' mouthpieces, the Corporate Media are a primary conduit for this propaganda.

What would be best for the workers and for the Country would be to repeal, at the very least, the most egregious portions of the Taft Hartley act which allow States under the slavish misnomer of 'Right To Work', to deny workers the ability to enter into an agreement that requires the employer to recognize their union security. It is better known as the RIGHT TO WORK CHEAP, because without union security that is the only right the employee has.

Ralph Nader has been the only one consistently talking about this, neither major party gets that far.

UNTIL THEY DO, the 'Employee Free Choice Act' would go a significant distance to rectify the injustice as it now stands.

Obama has said he will sign it.

This outfit is not news, it is manipulation.

You are being manipulated, congratulations, to nearly a person you have fallen for it.

What he said is that Obama has the choice of being 'Uncle Sam for the people of this country, or Uncle Tom for the giant corporations.'

Has anyone this election cycle decried the obscenely bloated Military Industrial Complex but Nader? Has anyone even used the term but Nader?

Do you expect to hear the term from the Corporate Media?

You won't hear it from Obama, he wants to increase the size of the Military. How about FISA? How the Wall Street 'Bailout' make that Wall Street Heist? He has already been there and done that for the Corporations.

Pseudo journalists, pseudo intellectuals and pseudo liberals unite for Faux manipulation. You are ripe.

Wednesday, November 5, 2008 03:53 PM

Being subservient to the Corporations is the subject.

@ Xrandadu Hutman

"Whoops, looks like you've changed the subject. What happened? You couldn't defend Nader on his use of a racially offensive term, so you changed the subject to some other term? Nice job! Don't think we didn't notice..."

Being subservient to the Corporations is the subject.

Faux concern trolling is duly noted.

What fun?

I had so much fun reading the review that I am confident I won't see the movie.

Thank you!
