  • Uggghhh

[Read the article: Time magazine refused to publish responses to Klein's false smears]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is there nobody out there who will rein these people in? Have we finally gone round the bend and now corporate hacks who have elbowed their way into halls of power can blatantly lie using their corporate podiums?

Whether lazy or operating under an agenda, Klein's behavior is reprehensible. If this country were operating properly he'd be fire yesterday.

Its enough to make one want to sharpen the guillotine.

  • Wow

[Read the article: Peggy Noonan is a serious "grown-up"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"What a stupid vapid woman this is". Wow. That about sums her up all right. Its about time we just started calling these people out for what they are. Nice job.

  • Hilarious

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Seriously - that's one of the funniest things I've read on the internet. You really held a mirror up to that hack and he did not like what he saw. I may cut and paste that into a word document and call it up whenever I'm feeling a little sad. Thanks!

  • Never bring a knife to a gunfight

[Read the article: Your Harry Reid-led Senate in action]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Democratic party is corrupt from the inside out, and Republicans take full advantage every single time. We need radical change. I mean RADICAL. A complete house cleaning of all these spineless, worthless pathetic excuses for Congressmen.

    Feinstein

    Reid

    Leahy

    Pelosi

Hell, all of them except Feingold and Dodd at this point as far as I'm concerned. The country has turned its back on the idea of a radical unchecked executive, but STILL these worms can't enable further transgressions against our rule of law fast enough.

Its enough to make one long for a guillotine.

    SHAME!!!!

  • I'm gagging

[Read the article: John King with Mike McConnell: Rare journalistic honesty]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Normally this sort of thing makes me angry, but every time you nail this jackass I just keel over laughing. I don't know if its the hair or what, but this idiot embodies everything moronic about our current press corps.

    Keep it up!

  • Gimme a break

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

God forbid we talk about race or the class divide or how the middle class is disappearing in this country. Certainly let's not talk about how the Republicans have run this country into the ground and got us all to buy into it with scary gays terror and the NRA. Because if you do that you're elitist!

And so we keep on with this stupid stupid stupid level of discourse and are forced to read abhorrent articles such as this one. Are these people really that scared of Obama or are we really that dumb?

    Or is it both?

  • Exhibit A ladies and gentlemen!

[Read the article: The harmony between the Right and the media]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Note to future historians! Are you wondering how a seemingly intelligent populice was led into a disastrous foreign policy endeavour into the middle east based on outright falsifications? How was it permitted to happen?

Look no further at what our shameful national press thinks is important. Then look at who is defending this viewpoint.

This isn't an election anymore, its an intervention.

  • Don't worry

Something tells me this crowd is going to see the perils of an all powerful Government sometime around late November.

  • The war?

[Read the article: Tin-eared at MSNBC]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I find it interesting that Clinton supporters never acknowledge her support for the war as having contributed to her loss. Its always the media's fault, or a misogynistic society.

A lot of the coverage was BS, but maybe you should start looking at the inherent flaws in your candidate and stop looking for a scapegoat.

  • Yeah but...

[Read the article: Lanny Davis joins Fox News]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

...how can we fit this into the bogus misogynist press narrative? Because clearly garbage like this didn't help her lose the race.

  • Ugh....reality

[Read the article: Obama, telecoms and the Beltway system]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    I am SO disappointed.....

  • The time is nigh

[Read the article: What Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and Fred Hiatt mean by "bipartisanship"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Let's just quit dancing around the subject, the time is here for a second revolution. I'm willing to try and vote these pathetic worms out but if that doesn't work we need to start considering our next move. Just as the colonists 225 years ago had to wrestle with toppling their government, we need to start doing the same.

When the "opposition" party gleefully eviscerates all of the rights our founding fathers fought for and then has the gall and temerity to try and tell us how hard they're fighting for us then the time for talk is just about over.

They are corrupt, they are worthless and worst of all they think we're stupid. Any patriot worth his salt should pledge to fight these monsters BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

Call me when we've taken to the streets to physically remove these clowns. I'll be there.

  • And then the sycophantic morons show up

    @Paul

Please please for the love of all that is holy in this universe GO AWAY. Your beloved Hillary led the charge on the Democratic side to lead us into the Iraq war. She got all snuggly with Lieberman to declare how big and bad Iran (IRAN!) is. Her "leadership" is what lost her the nomination despite overwhelming support from the Democratic establishment and her ex-president husband.

If you're too stupid to see this, go hijack a thread over at the McCain board (I'm sure its hopping) and let us figure out how to really solve our problems. Your cult of personality is tiresome and not helpful.

  • Seriously?

[Read the article: Stone cold buggin']
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

At this point, do you honestly think an Oliver Stone movie is going to sway public opinion on the Republican party one way or the other? Its not 2004, the country has moved on.

If it were a movie about McCain you could be on to something. This just reads as paranoid boogie man nonsense. I for one am tired of checking every move made against " OMG what will the shrieking right do?". They going to shriek and howl about perceived outrages, that's what they do.

  • Depressing

[Read the article: AT&T thanks the Blue Dog Democrats with a lavish party]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Its becoming very clear that the Democrats represent only the lesser of two evils. Fascism light as it were. Its hard to imagine an Obama administration doing much to reverse the steep decline of the American way of life after reading something like this. Pelosi and Reid have already shown what they're made of, so no hope there either. All we can do is hope to slow the seemingly inevitable destruction of the middle class by keeping the truly fanatical out of office for a while.

I am deeply deeply ashamed right now.
