It is to late ... from the vantage point of far away we have observed the appalling ability of American voters to destroy hope itself.

That we can see you are doomed in America by whomever you chose brings no comfort ... the treadmill of time is showing only an appearance of forward progress but the evident unwillingness to face life on "Adult" terms by so many of your citizens means a continuation of the quagmire of pain and sorrow for the world. Mr. Obama speaks to the truth frequently and yet so many people in the Democratic camp respond with slurs upon him.

I see no miracle forthcoming from the days ahead to forestall the grief of your own making as a narcissistic candidate with wealthy and old school ‘connections’ along with the collaboration of a self-serving media has partnered especially with the right wing media to smear of the one candidate who showed a glimmer of true understanding of the need to tackle the greater issues of the day with hope and optimism.

Hope and optimism are not ‘shallow’ expressions … they are actually the deepest longings of the soul … and America has abandoned the soul of so many of its dispossessed by failure to address the realities of the need for full and equitable education, universal health care and meaningful employment for its citizenry… Mr. Obama has pointed to this greater need and knows the necessity of responding to it!

Shame on your laxness of support for the obvious good … you have squandered the treasure that could have easily provided the basic human essentials for your own citizenry on “The Wars” … and you continue to tolerate and even extoll the grossest forms of personal greed and acquisitiveness.

This Canadian feels deeply that the majority of American People are in deep denial about the reality of the coming onslaught of a global social and economic collapse and will in all likelihood vote for a destructive continuation of the neo-con disaster under a McCain … or Clinton!

The future of the world may not totally revolve around the decision of Party Primaries but rather on the evolved consequence of American ignorance and self-centeredness that Mr. Obama has often tried to have people wake up to. It is the ignorance and self-centeredness that lets a third world mother and child starve or be riddled with shrapnel on the filthy streets of many villages where they continue to suffer… The brief flicker of such gruesome images and that damnable war in Iraq continues to occasionally appear on digital screens across America … but they seem to be treated as just 'light' intrusions to the viewing of episodes of ‘American Idol’, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ or some ‘Sports Spectacle’-(Chose whatever} .. This is obviously the "New Rome" with Bread and Circuses to distract the ignorant plebeians from the corruption buried within.

So America continues to stumble … bleeding by way of self-absorption until the tragic self-generated demise of 'The Great Republic’... I pray for you … but prayers will in themselves not be enough .. you will need to search your souls and come to action soon or it will be a long and hard time for all whom we love.
