Original article: War, chaos and Bush's faith

Exemplary Article

I think this hits the nail on the head so to say. I was against this war from day one believing from all the evidence, particularly Hans Blix reports, as well as just common sense that the allegations of WMDs and being in league with Al Qaida were ridiculous. But Bush's religious beliefs are dangerous. It is extremely dangerous to actually have someone so deranged that he believes he is being directed by God himself on how to lead a nation. While a believer myself I personally do not think God gets too involved in many of mankind's miserable activities. No God who got involved would allow a 3 year old to be raped, a 5 year old to die of brain cancer or George Bush to kill hundreds of thousands of Muslims as well as Christians. I think it was Jefferson who said something like it is better that a man have no beliefs then to believe in things that are wrong. Well, Bush believes he is being directed by the almighty himself to propagate his Christian and democratic campaign while the rest of the neos believe America should wield it's military force to make the world bend to our will and secure the blessings of oil on our consumer society. They don't understand that not everyone in the world abides by the same value system and the pursuit of wealth and power.

Original article: The Decider has decided

Bush is an arrogant, disgusting example of humanity

Bush absolutely disgusts me. I try to do my part he says. Yes, if it is his way or no way. This guy actually crosses the aisle? He is the most bull headed, obstinate guy ever to inhabit the White House. And his conservative compassion? His only compassion is to rich tax payers who he cuts there taxes. Children obviously have too much money to spend so why should the government help pay the medical bills which are typically outrageous. Bush has always had money or someone to bail him out, he never had and never will worry about where the money to pay for the doctor bill comes from or even where he will get the money for his new big V8 pickup truck, yee-haw! How this country can put up with this absurd definition of a president I will never understand. My concern at this point is how much more crap can he put us through in the next 15 months and how many more kids can be denied medical treatment and how many more people can be killed in Iraq?

Separation of church and state!

This is exactly what our founders formed this country to prevent. This woman, as evidenced in her ABC interview, it not ready nor has the demeanor to be vice-president much less president. She would make her decisions based on her evangelical faith, not on the principles espoused in the Constitution. It is amazing that the Christian right, who so despise the Muslim religion, cannot see what has happened in the mid-east where religion and politics go hand in hand to not themselves stop that from happening here. But they are the Christian version of the zealots. I am a practicing Catholic but hardly follow the edicts of the Pope and am a firm believer in separation of church and state. Sarah Palin is a dangerous person to have so close to being president. McBush selected her to pull the female vote and the evangelical right back into his boat only.

Bush the wimp, not a man at all

That was a great article. Three days ago I was telling my wife what a pathetic example of humanity George Bush is. He takes responsibility for nothing he has done and at the same time continues to rant about what a great job he has performed. The evidence is quite to the contrary. He didn't take us into this war, it was congress, the previous administration, the faulty evidence he believed, etc. etc. He didn't help us into this economic disaster, it was all those things that happened before he go into office. He didn't cause this bitter political partisanship now overwhelming Washington and on and on. And he is not man enough to say he is sorry, that takes a humble, intelligent person to do. He is running and hiding behind all his rich buddies like he has done his entire life. There was a Doonesbury cartoon some years back. It shows Bush saying he is sorry for all this and more. The last panel has Mike awaking from a dream after dreaming it. I like to think of that whenever I see this sniveling coward who thinks he is a leader.
