The "bitter" vote

I absolutely love Tanmack's response of Sat. 4/19 @ 12:32 PM.

I would only add "and what if post Katrina, the government placed you and your family in a trailor and lo and behold, years after living in it, you find out the formaldahyde level has always been beyond a safe standard and now, your family is facing health issues?" Oh my, I am bitter as hell and not going to take it anymore!!! Go Obama, go Obama. Win Obama, win.

Can I BE VICE PRESIDENT?

I am a skateboard mom, worked for government over 20 years, blew the whisle on fellow employees and my boss, go to church weekly, have excellent credit, have adopted all kinds of animals, give to those who are poorer, can give a great speech particulary when instructed to really attack the opposition. Ut-oh, big problem. I don't wear lipstick and I encourage birthcontrol and I remember my transgressions.. Yes. I do.

Females Wimps are Clamoring for a Hammering

100% on target are you Joan. The angry Hilaryites who are changing their vote based on the sex of McCain's new vice

president nominee are going to be crestfallen if Palin gets into office and: 1. stops birth control classes and clinics 2.bans books in libraries 3. opens gunfare on polar bears 4.helps re-institute the draft (if her child can go so should everyone else's)5.vetos maternity leave benefits (if she can deliver and go back to work in 3 days so should all females)and etc.

Watch ouT Michelle's coming

It has been obvious from the get-go that Michelle is her own woman who has maintained the love and respect of her husband because she is strong and she "doesn't play". I truly think she will define her own way without hesitation. Barack will continue to support and adore her and the US is in for a real treat in terms of role models.

I'm looking forward to it all......yes, I am.

Original article: First lady got back

I'M SMILING WITH YOU

Yes indeedy, Michelle will give a new answer to what a female's body is suppose to look like. I agreed with your entire article but wonder if you realize that Hilary wore pantsuits so often because the dang pundits would criticize her about her ankles when they found nothing else to criticize. Oh, the pain of being a bright female politician!! (Ps. I say this even though I supported Obama from the get-go).

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 03:43 AM

WHAT A PARANOID PERSON YOU ARE!!!

Hillary is a very bright lady with a great international reputation....Obama is a brilliant politician and choose her on that basis. Bill has remained a positive and giving figure abroad so he will only enhance foreign reception. Sarah willingly and repeatedly bashed Obama in practically every speech by her inflamatory "hate lies" and Obama was a gentleman towards her. As far as the criticisms of her, well goes around comes back around and not necessarily by the same force!!!

Will "They" Be HAGUE-ING OUT?

Probably not. Dang!!!

THROWING HIS SHOES GOT 1 MAN JAILED & YET

I am totally with you Glenn on all the riduculous ironies when people take up for Bush.....and refuse the idea of him being prosecuted. Moral decay is all I can say.....P.S. I agree that the shoe thrower should have been jailed as it sets a dangerous precedence. Now, what kind of precedence has Bush set?

We condemned Russia for over-reacting (to Ga.)& Don't do the same to Israel (re:Gazda)?

Bloody hypocrits we are and the whole world knows it. Bloody shame, it is.

You, Mr. Pesce, are incredible!!!

Mr. Pesce, the love and the wit you show in your article are beyond charming. Don't you worry about the after-life, it's there for all of us.....and you & your wife's spirits will combine. God bless you 2.

Wow! Obama/Clinton & Clinton/Mitchell Representing US. Who more could we want?

Bill is a magical orator & calming spirit. Hilary is a very bright & wise woman. Mitchell's gift of negotiating has been well proven and Obama is the warmest, wisest and most expansive

person in our government in the last 8 years. The US is on a roll to recapture our previous goodstanding role in the world.

YEAH!

& for Years to Come the US will Suffer from Our Mission of Mass Destruction

Ralph Waldo Emerson was so right years ago "Democracy (under Bush) becomes a government of bullies tempered by editors."(The inserts are my add-ons.)

How in blazes did we allow this entire travesty happen?

...... So horribly sad.

STILL DON't UNDERSTAND

Those greedy bankers and wallstreet capitalists who made huge bucks on faulty mortgages were allowed to walk away very well-endowed, so to speak. For every faulty mortgage (many given unscruptulously just to get the loan fee) their company carried, why not charge the president of such institutions a financial penalty. My God, no wonder anything goes. The chiefs just took their cut and ran. And unshamefully, let the US bail their institutions out.

(THis question is a little departed from the article but yes, I, too, am so sick of the republican sliming. Obama is trying his hardest to upright a capsized ship).

IT'S THE REPUBLICAN SMASHING & NEGATIVE PRESS THAT"S CRUMBLED THE STOCK MARKET

Rush Limp-balls said it the clearest & obviously spoke for the

entire Republican party: "I(we) want Obama to fail" & what you see, particularly on Fox Network is a campaign of such negativism that no person or country will invest. They are frightened by all the viperous right wingers. Pitiful. Can someone tell them to give it a break until at least 6 months in? Please.

Original article: Here comes socialism

"Much of the conservative chatter seems aimed at freaking people out"

My headline is a quote from your article that says it all.

Saturday, March 21, 2009 08:46 AM

Obama's Mistake was Giving His Haters Ammo.

Not for a minute do I believe kind-hearted Obama meant to disparage those with disabilities. Who of us haven't said something spontaneously that was simply not how we feel or not what we meant to convey? He apologized profusely and we need to move on....but the haters will toss this one around for infinity.
