Reverend Wright spews lies to raise cash from his brethren because lies are easier to swallow then truth. It is always easier to blame others for the problems of the world, your failings, and your inability to change either of these issues. It is a lot harder to look at problems, define them, and work to overcome them. It is a lot harder to raise money from your flock if you ask them to look inward as well as outward in regards to curing social ills. It is MUCH easier to just say we must overcome and place all the blame on others. MUCH easier, just not correct, not ethical, and not going to solve the problems.

First of all, we need to define Rev. Wright. He grew up in a middle to upper middle class neighborhood, went to one of the best schools in the district, excelled academically, was very popular and--according to many neighbors and friends--was well fed, lived in a nice home, and had every advantage as a child. He did so well in school that he had his picks of colleges and grad school and went on to a very illustrious military career before deciding to preach. He was never poor, never hungry, and appears to have been popular and successful his whole life.

Thus, when he speaks of racism he does not speak as a poor man, or a man whose dreams were dashed, or as a man whose depraved-due-to-racism childhood determined his less-than-stellar life choices. He is a black man who is very smart and can, if he wanted to, speak to and about racism because as a black man he has faced it. The same way I as a upper middle class intelligent talented jewish woman has faced anti-semitism and sexism. We know of it, we have faced it, but it did not stand in the way of us achieving and making our way in this world. Sure, we had to fight a little harder, but the fight hopefully opened eyes and made the next black or jewish woman's life a little easier.

But he CANNOT speak the way he does and justify it due to his horrific life in America AND, even if he did have a horrific life due to racism in America, according to my friends who are religious and black he should never speak the way he did. He claimed to know God's mind and blamed tremendous human suffering on God's anger, he invoked racism against Italians and Hispanics, he blamed AIDS on white Americans, and he used God's name in vain. These are things no good preacher--black or white--should do.

Then, to make matters worse, he and Mr. Obama attempted to justify his evil words with lies. This showed them both to be self-serving hypocrites.

Things are just getting good now, because Rev. Wright has just come out--according to the AP--and said that, regarding Obama's trashing of him in PA, Obama is just a politician saying and doing anything to get elected. This is supposedly Mr. Obama's best friend and mentor. Very very interesting.

It is clear to those of us who want to face hard truth that Mr. Obama is a liar. He will be breaking many hearts of good people as he attempts to lie his way into power, and while I do not care for many of you I do not think that this is right. I challenge you all to WAKE UP and embrace truth because it truly will set you free. It may not be free as in you just won the lottery, but it will be free as in at least knowing the truth you will have the choice to determine your own destiny. DO NOT give Mr. Obama your destiny. He will not set you free.

3 types of people support Obama at this point: Angry blacks, woman-hating holier than though liberals, and dumb people.

He has basically said FUCK YOU to whites, Americans, Jews, Italians, Hispanics, Old People, Older Women, Blue Collar Workers, Religious People, and people who hunt or own guns.

So, Mr. Shapiro, are you stupid, angry and black, or a woman hater? Or all three?

I am not tone deaf, not "getting it" 'cause my mother didn't raise a fool, and won't swallow the kool aid matter how long you hold my nose. Death before dishonor, Anyone but Obama.
