Dear Sir, I am not Kate and I am not a troll, and you are not a woman. Even if you have the right body parts, you are not one of us dear.
@the person who said that unlike other presidents in the past, Mr. Obama is going to talk to the leaders of Iran, Afghanistan, etc., etc., thanks for confirming once again my true belief that the only people actually honest-to-god supporting this insipid fool are insipid fools (for the most part).
And finally, before I get too depresed to get back out there and fight the good fight, I predict that PA goes 100% Clinton, and Mr. Obama becomes the nothing he truly is. Polls are irrelevant -- look at the exit polls in the last presidential election and then ask why Bush is sitting in the White House since those polls showed Kerry winning it all. Please people take the weekend to read, think, and remember that your vote may be the one that saves the world. THINK. Please god, think.
First, you miss my point (again). If you look at Mr. Obama's actions they do not mimic who he says he is (i.e. unity, change, and hope). No one who believes these things goes to Trinity Church and NO ONE who believes Revered Wright is their mentor believes these things. I too have sat in the pews at Trinity and I have heard Rev. Wright 'preach' and he is the antithesis of anything Dr. King would say or do. I went to law school in Chicago and heard some talk about this church and its pastor and went to check it out; suffice to say it is a very negative church. I could NOT attend or support such a place/pastor BECAUSE of my belief system, but Mr. Obama and his wife have no problem attending and giving lots of money and calling this preacher their mentor, etc., etc.
Furthermore, just because we live in a country where people are free to give humanitarian awards to utter creeps like Mr. Farrakhan (who most likely had Malcolm X killed for moving from Panther to King in his thought process) does not mean that I have to forgive a church and a man running for President of MY country for doing so. Mr. Farrakhan is an extremely evil and racist man and ANYONE or ANY CHURCH who would award him anything is, once again, the antithesis of what Dr. King would believe in. And, once again, because of my belief system I would have to walk away from such a church, but Michelle and Barack stayed.
There are 1000's and 1000's of churches and good people to associate with, and Michelle and Barack chose to associate with Trinity Church, Rev. Wright, and Louis Farrakhan. And it is not a coincidence. You simply cannot coherently address his mantra of "hope, change, and unity" with his actions, and using fancy words and throwing famous names at the situation does not make it go away. And yes, I have read Michelle's paper and I disagree with you about that too.
You write off his funding of the war in Iraq as a "had to do it" situation, and then you paint Hillary's vote as pro war when in reality the vote was about sending investigatory teams to back up the UN's teams who were not getting anywhere. GW Bush declared war on Iraq, not Hillary Clinton. And as she has said time and time again she only voted for sending in our own teams to investigate, for example, weapons of mass destruction, because of lies from GW Bush. She felt, due to the lies, that the USA was at risk and thus this justified sending in the investigatory units. Period.
And as far as what I wish, and how it might affect us all, I just wanted you to know that I care about everyone (even people who are cruel). I have already made my point with Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Dean and many others, I will NOT vote for Mr. Obama because he is a racist, a liar, and a hypocrite and I will be forced to vote Republican if he gets the nomination because I think that he is not fit to be President. I would be very sad if it came to this, because it would be choosing the lesser of two evils but common sense would make me go with the one less evil and thus I would go McCain.
However, and this is a most positive thing, Hillary is LEADING in Gallup and I project a big big win in PA (67/33) and I see her in the White House soon. And I hope that Mr. Obama is exposed soon so that those of us truly committed to changing the world for the better can get back to work--together.
