  • For some of us, "it" (i.e. BO-mania) NEVER STARTED

Obama didn't just slip on March 4th, he fell flat on his face. He outspent her in Texas at least 2 to 1, and as a proud Texan--and an even prouder Texan for Hillary--I can state for a fact that we didn't buy what he was selling NOT EVEN FOR A MINUTE. As a highly educated extremely progressive woman, I find it distasteful in the extreme that the media AND the Democratic Party is trying to tell me that I have to choose a hack as President of my country. Barack Obama is the best actor and quite possible the worst candidate for President the United States has ever had. The last thing we need is another self-serving egomaniac in the white house. Wake up People, turn off the television, read, listen, and THINK!!!!!

  • Let's talk Turkey T. Brandel

Okay, let me see if I have this straight. If I mention facts, I am attacking Mr. Obama if they relate to his experience, his ethics, his financing, and/or his plan to revitalize this country AND if I am attacking him I am either unfairly attacking him, I am insulting your intelligence, or I am a racist.

Going back to my first post, not only did I not take the first bite, but I am certainly not going to swallow this nonsense.

Mr. Brandel has set up the perfect scenario by which his candidate can say and do anything and we, using his "fairness" paradigm, have to accept at face value the 'give hope a chance' propaganda or be labeled ignorant, racist, a 'bad' democrat, or insulting.

Sounds like Fascism to me. Unlike Mr. Brandel, I do not prescribe to any such dictator and I still live in a country where open debate is guaranteed under the Constitution. Remember, we still have a right to speak....don't we.

I have a right to ask Mr. Obama, and by default his supporters, anything because he wants to be in charge of the United States of America. I can challenge, question, demand, quote, and scrutinize every aspect of his past, his church, his finances, and his words WITHOUT being labeled anything other than a good American if this is still the country I think it is. Furthermore, if he is all good--as you propose--than why are you so scared of the questions?

Still Proud, Still a Girl, and still in Texas!

  • If the shoe were on the other foot, instead of in your mouth...

Barack Obama is a monster. Yeesh. Can you imagine if Hillary said this, or someone on her team, or her supporters. I can hear the mumbling masses now....wait, the words are becoming easier to hear...yes, I can finally hear them....RACISM. How dare a white woman call a black man a monster.

But hey, calling a woman a monster, well, that is downright cool, hip, and fun. Nothing wrong with that. Just playing politics.

Play this. Barack Obama and his supporters may or may not be monsters, but the real monster is people who support this hypocrisy and almost revel in it.

Down here in TEXAS, we don't play that game. Put 'em up or shut up is how we like it. If you gonna say you're Mr. Nice, than be Mr. Nice, or stop saying it because every single time you show your true colors--those of a hyprocrite--it is one more vote (or one more million votes) for my girl HILLARY.

I think Michael Jackson sang a song about how to change the world, and it starts with looking in a mirror.

The pathetic excuses, the pandering, the postering, the refusal to address how name calling by the Obama camp hurts him by showing his propaganda to be simply that, is the REAL REASON why smart, educated, progressive people are voting for Hillary Clinton.

Let's put it more succinctly, so goes Maureen Dowd, so I go THE OTHER WAY!!

    Prouder than ever in Texas!

    Dear Sir,

Read my post again, this time stopping first and THINKING before putting more glop online.

I said YOU look in the mirror. YOU. You are not Obama are you, or a member of his crack team of trained elite professionals working to get him elected.

Your words, and approximately 98% of other Obama supporters' words on this post regarding Ms. Power's words and her subsequent resignation are as bad IF NOT WORSE than what she has done. In summation, most of you think that the word was proper, not bad enough, she is smarter than ALL of us, she will be re-hired OF COURSE, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Thus, her 'resignation' was simply propaganda, not real, just meant to appease the masses. These are YOUR WORDS. Yeesh, you are not even smart enough to post your message for OBAMA SUPPORTERS ONLY.

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire, but hey listen if you just want to let it burn I am cool with that.

Also, Mr. I am more Ethical and Smarter than the rest of you, most of the people I know studying ethics in college did so just to quote dead men and dead information at those of us able to stand up for ourselves and speak for ourselves. You can quote me on this, if you want.

From the great state where Ann Richards and Barbara Jordan stood up for what was right and true....Proud NOT to be you!
