Are you sure about your list?

I was a student in New York state when abortion began to become legal, and when Roe v. Wade was handed down. I distinctly remember New York having legalized abortion in advance of Roe v. Wade. How is it that it is not one of the states in which a right to abortion is "enshrined"? Did it change?
