Can I play Call of Duty 4 on a Mac? If not, why are we still talking? Macs are all about aesthetics but I like the ability to buy the latest hardware upgrades for my PC and install them myself. People who complain about crashes/viruses/clunky apps are simply lazy or unskilled or both.
Young professional women who think men hate Hillary for being a powerful woman are maybe projecting their own insecurities in their dealings with their menfolk. At the least they are taking themselves too seriously. Hillary turns a lot of people off, for being a hypocritical unprincipled politician with a sense of entitlement greater even than her husband's. I am Indian by birth, and grew up in Indira Gandhi's India - I have no problem with powerful women, AND I don't love Obama (in fact am totally unimpressed) - but I still hate Hillary. For the simple reason that she's false. She would say or do just about anything to get elected, which makes her no different from any other politician of either gender, granted, but when someone with her record always claims the moral high ground, it grates on the nerves more than when Obama weaves his Great American Auto-Narrative out of whole cloth.
LW admits she is ok with pot smoking, and further admits that her husband is probably hiding his use from her because the first time she caught him she blew up. Whats the harm in just telling him calmly this time, perchance with even a smile, that its ok and he does not have to hide it. Might break the ice and help start a rational conversation about maybe getting a medical opinion on pot use with his condition, and about the implications of using pot in a home with a teenager.
If she's not willing to extend even that much of an olive branch, what good is all the machinery of American marriage - counseling, psychiatry, medication, mediation, trial separation, divorce, custody hearings etc - going to do. I am amazed that Cary Tennis blithely suggests involving a "professional" . A professional what? Unless said professional has the experience of a long and happy marriage with no history of divorce, what makes them qualified? How many so called marriage counselors exist in America with those qualifications?
In the end marriage is a compact between two people that predates almost all secular or religious laws, and if LW can't take the rough with the smooth then she's a typical American woman - self centered and entitled. If you cannot treat your marriage vows as an unbreakable contract - for richer or poorer, in sickness or good health etc etc, then why the constant fetish in this country with the institution of marriage.
