Conservatives are right.
[Read the article: Is Rush Limbaugh next?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Don Imus was a template for liberals to try to go after conservative talk radio. They could never take down Limbaugh or most of the other major radio host. Mainly because most of them work for radio companies not Mega media companies like Imus. They produce big shares of these radio companies revenues and they will almost never fire them. Plus most of their sponsers are middle size companies. So they will not likely pull advertisements from those shows. Imus was fired more because he work for a mega media company with lot of different sources of income. So they could eat the loss of his show without much pain. Redstone, chair of CBS fired Tom Cruise, or ended their business relationship, because of the thing he said about Brooke Shields and his behavior the last couple of years. So I wasn't surprise by CBS decision to kill the show.

What Rush Limbaugh meant?
[Read the article: Wait, how did I miss Rush Limbaugh?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What Rush Limbaugh meant was that liberals constantly compare conservatives to Nazis, facist, and racist just because they disagree with them. Which is why he said liberals do this everyday. A recent example is the columnist that call Bill O'Reilly racist because he uses the phrase illegal aliens. When O'Reilly sent his producer to confront the lady, you guys tried to paint it like O'Reilly sent his producer to do a drive by hit on the lady. Liberals like to do this stuff but don't like to get call on the carpet for it. I don't even like O'Reilly but guy is not going to stand by and let people talk crap about him.

Asim's asumption for Hip Hop role with N word
[Read the article: Who gets to use the N word?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Asim's stated There is serious precedent -- in the 1920s and 1930s, you went into a white middle-class home and the N-word was everywhere. It was on the shelves, it was in the cookbooks, the sheet music on the piano, the toys children played with. Let's not talk about hip-hop introducing this word in some new and unprecedented fashion.
I disagree, Russell Simmons in an article for Fortune said "Donald Trump, that's my nigga." When white teenagers call each other "nigga". That's a new and unprecedented use of the word. Yes, the n-word was around in the 20's and 30's in white homes but it always refers to either something black(a color) or something related to black culture. For example, nigga music, niggarigged it or, niggabird. Hip hop introduced the n-word as a pronoun. It's like the word "dude".
The question is who gets to use it. This is really about what the media promotes about black culture. Media choses to promote the most negative aspects about black culture or American culture because that what people want to see and hear about. People lives are boring. We go to work, and come home, watch some tv, occassionly have sex and do some partying , and do it all over the next week. So people want to hear about drama. Media promotes these negative aspects of the culture and we internalize parts of it. Whether is using the term "whacked" from the mob pitch, or "Get er done" from rednecks, or "bling" or "dissed" from hip hop. The point is if you don't want people to say the n-word then don't put out there for public comsumpution.

Brit Hume Is Fair on Specail Report.
[Read the article: Brit Hume is a "journalist"; Keith Olbermann is "partisan"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think Brit Hume is fair. Brit rarely goes on these attacks on his show Special Report. On Fox News Sunday he is a commentator so he states his opinion. I like seeing him and Juan go at on FNS. It always fun and interesting. It's like Ann Coulter said if the Democrats are to scare to take on Brit Hume how can they take on the terrorist calling for people to kill us. I admire Sabarnes because he use to go on Fox and fight it out with Brit Hume and Chris. He was the first to make the case against the war. His reasons stuck because he didn't backdown from the hard questions. One thing I wish the Democrats and left would just say is you don't give a damn about the Iraqis or what happens in that part of the world after we pull out. Most American don't either. Just like we didn't give a damn after the Vietnam pullout. New countries are always built on bloodshed. So why do people try to stop these things whether in the Balkins or Sudan or Iraq. America should do what it always does pick a side and fund it. I we had pull out 2 years ago. The Iraqis would have fought it out and we would have a winner by now and somebody we could deal with.

Wow, I can't believe it.
[Read the article: Taking Condi out to the ballgame]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Wow,I can't believe it. A San Francisco crowd boos a Republican secretary of state. If it had happen at a Texas Rangers game it would have been something to report.

That's what liberals want
[Read the article: "We need to learn to share"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Liberals need universal healthcare to justify the need for higher taxes. They have to be able to say if we don't raise taxes somebody is going to die. Which is the very reason why universal healthcare will never happen. Also, I lot of Democrats better change there tune on immigration if that ever really want universal healthcare. You can't have people crossing the border at will with a generous welfare state. None of these countries with universal healthcare allow illegal immigration to happen on a large scale.
