What our military is getting

[Read more letters about this article: Here]In the past four months six of my criminal clients have asked for a settlement that would release them to be admitted into the army. I have thought of ways to scuttle this plan knowing full well they are cannon fodder. I didn't do it, but you Americans should know about six of our country's finest and the army of one.
One was convicted of breaking into his girlfriend's home stealing her underwear and killing her cat.
Another was convicted of beating a guy lifeless in a bar because he looked gay.
A third was convicted of stalking the friend of his girlfriend because she wouldn't tell him she was having an affair. He was also convicted of violating conditions of no contact by coming over to her home and kicking her door in.
A fourth was convicted of beating up an exboyfriend of his sister because he wasn't true to her.
A fifth was convicted of selling drugs on a grade school campus.
The last was convicted of raping a sixteen year old who's defense was he has been on social security disability and lacked the mental state to intend to rape her.
All were convicted. All were accepted by my local town's armey recruiters. They will be going to Iraq with very short tempers serious drug issues and sexual problems. The Iraqis should welcome them with flowers and sweets. At least until they get beaten like the pictures I have of their victims or raped like the young girl who supposedly asked for it.
They represent America at it's best.
If you want to exceed the surge I've got a few killers, violent rapists, and hardcore drug dealers who would also trade a long stint in jail for a tour in Iraq. Sadly I'm sure Dubya would be glad to oblige them.
In the final days of the Third Reich Hitler armed not just small children but criminals from the local prisons and the insane to defend Berlin.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]But, in making it she ends up admitting her bigotry against homosexuals. Use a gay slur to call Edwards a wussy is making the ignorant statement that all gays are wusses; just like the ones fighting to stay in the military.
Glenn Greenwald excellently explained why CPAC needs Ann Coulter. Their philosophy and appeal to the base is through the appearance of strength while denigrating any opposition as weak limpwristed effete snobs. In Europe these groups are properly described as fascists; as in Le Pen etc. Representing nothing more than imperial militancy, racial hatred, homophobia and the greed of a few multinational corporations should normally leave such an entity at the fringes of the political spectrum, like anarchists, religious theocrats, communists or neonazis. That they appear to be the mainstream with a more than mainstream piece of the media spotlight is what is far more disturbing than the geek act that is the sexually confused Coulter.
