Original article: "I Love You, Man"

You're kidding, right?

If you think this movie is a credible picture of male relationships then you think any person from the ghettos of Mumbai can win a million dollars on a TV show and Iraq really did possess WMDs and even could launch them against us.

You are the epitome of the statement that women know nothing about men, even less than we know about women. I Love You Man is vaudeville, a slapstick attempt to play up female and society phobias about male relationships and the ugliest character of men But hey, that is ok, since all white men are rich hedge fund managers or buck toothed inbreds from West Virginia, so us having butt sex is just sooo funny.

Perhaps one day when they make a movie about women who go off to bathrooms to powder their noses but engage in sexual congress or whatever is a male fantasy as truth you might understand. You might also be offended by such a movie of woman who end up falling into the crotches of women and joes about lesbianistic tendencies. Doing the same to men is an insult.

Just write a review that says male bonding movies are stupid and wrong and you will be right.

That you will never see such insight on any other station should tell you something.

Barry Maquire, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

woohoo hoo...

"The eastern world, it is exploding

Violence flarin’, bullets loadin’

You’re old enough to kill, but not for votin’

You don’t believe in war, but what’s that gun you’re totin’

And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin’

But you tell me

Over and over and over again, my friend

Ah, you don’t believe

We’re on the eve

of destruction."

The sad fate of history

Being against capital punishment, I didn't believe all members of the Nazi SS should be rounded up and shot, but I did think they should have been sterilized so their ignorant malicious hate might die with them. Sadly, they spawned and we now have CPAC.

So true

Yeah, that pretty much sums up the picture.

Dean on health care

As Governor of Vermont he helped create and fund Dr. Dynasaur which provided full and fully funded health coverage to all children in vermont. To do it he created a sliding payment scale so that even middle and upper income families could buy into the system for a fraction of private insurance costs. It was not only a great plan for law income families, but for those recently jobless or just moving to the state seeking work who did not yet have health coverage for their children.

Though not as aggressive, no fault of his own, he also created a sliding pay scale health coverage for adults which also provided full coverage from free to a hundreds of dollars less than private insurance. Only when you made 60 grand or above did it become competitive with private coverage. Below that, it was a godsend.

Yes, Dean for HHS. But don't count on Obama to make that call. Me thinks he does not want anything close to universal health coverage and just cribbed off of Hillary's website.

You want him, we'll have to mount a Twitter petition to his blackberry.

Cry me a river

And Kudos to Glenn Greenwald for pointing out what a big med whore this reason the Repubs won was. Now to deal with Reid.

What and unprincipled dick. Had he had half the brain of the scarecrow in Wizard of OZ he would have realized and fought against that easily predictibly disastrous war, the way conservatives make themselves sound so convincing that Keynesian economics is the end of civilization.

Loser. May your lobbyist clients be rejected for a bailout.

Original article: Bush: Same as he ever was

No surprise

So in eight years encompassing 9/11, two wars and an economic collapse not seen since 1929, Bush's views haven't changed one iota. He has learned absolutely nothing. Just like his years from kindergarten to high school; before he learned about drugs and alcohol.

Why is everyone so surprised. In a world run by ruling classes, a moron some times walks this way.

Make way for Jeb Bush. He will be the savior to Obama's evil plan to serve the American people; which is just Jefferson's evil plan for socialism that us poorly paid paranoid gun toting morons so fear.

Camille Paglia should be talking up Jeb's great moral and sexual virtues any moment now.

Original article: Obama shows he's no Bush

Oh great. 100 days of hopiness

Nice on paper. But the minute Pfizer sends an embossed pen or one of those supid memo pads with their latest "Soma" advert printed on the top, the right wing lunatis will be all over this. Hope Michelle has a cloth coat laying around and Barak doesn't name the kids new dog Checkers.

This is a great idea in theory, but a potentially disasterous one in DC.

Combine wage freezes, idealistically strict rules against lobbying and lofty goals of instant transpeancy and you get this:

Extra! Extra: Ex Energy department janitor charged with violating federal law for taking a job with Green Peace; sending letter on behalf of Al Gore's Global Warming Initiative!" Obama government attempts to cover up! Refuses to asnwer questions as to whether janitor offered to pick up after himself at Sec of Interior office! Republicans and impartial Democrats including honorable Independan Joe Lieberman decry dishonesty, demand impeachment hearings!"

Laugh but remember how much you would have laughed if I wrote in 1993 that the Repubs were so perverse they would impeach Clinton over a blowjob.

Check your history. There have been like minded reformists who took the oath of office. The results were the same. The opposition party savaged them and their own party stabbed them in the back. These are great ideals, but they are also land mines on his way to wherever he is ultimately trying to go.

Good luck, Obama. I hope you succeed, but you better be armed with history against your side.
