An interesting point...
[Read the article: "300"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I wonder why these filmmakers who created this obviously homo-erotic film, are marketing it to heterosexual males. Why would a straight man want to pay $12, sit for 2 hours and watch ripped abs, chiseled biceps, muscles flexing, powerful thighs, bulging crotches, beads of sweat, hardened nipples, slow motion, heart pounding, tanned, cape wearing, feathered hats, mini skirted, perfect specimens of the male form, in gladiator outfits no less, chase each other around? Sounds totally gay (not to mention hot!) to me...
It's absolutely amazing to me the practically invisible line between "a guys flick" and gay porn. If the only basic difference is an "orgasm", what the hell is wrong with these homophobic "men's men" who feel threatened in some way by homosexuals?
More proof that the world has gone completely nuts.

[Read the article: The morality of Gen. Peter Pace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, the General has the right to personally believe whatever he wants. He can believe that African Americans should drink from seperate water fountains if he wants to, and good for "Mike" for volunteering to fight for that right, as ignorant as it may be. However, the point is this: a governement official, a General no less, should be someone who has no discriminatory bias whatsoever. How can we put our trust in a General who is also a bigot? How can we put our children in harms way, to be led by someone who believes it's ok to generalize and discriminate?
All I keep hearing from Bush's mouth is how we're fighting for our 'freedom', how we were attacked because the terrorists hate our 'freedom', etc. Well guess what - we aren't free. Gay and Lesbian taxpaying Americans don't have the same rights or freedoms as other Americans and we all know as long as others are oppressed, no one is free. So, enough!
The so called 'morality' of Gen. Peter Pace is more apt for an Elk's Lodge - not the U.S. Military.

Senile old fool...
[Read the article: Why can't we all just get along?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He has completely lost his mind. Has he started wearing diapers yet?

Wow...
[Read the article: Fox's Ann Coulter 2.0]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...another stupid piece of shit with a mouth and THIS one's from Canada, no less.

Ah, the good 'ol days....
[Read the article: A depressing victory for Bill Donohue]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... when the Christians were fed to the lions.
But in all seriousness (as if I'm not), don't you just LOVE the self proclaimed, good Christians who make death threats? Where in the Bible does it say that it's ok to make death threats?
Good work, Joan... keep it coming.

[Read the article: "Tasting Rachael Ray"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]At least it's not vid clips of her famously obnoxious acronyms, or the panicky way she stumbles through 30 minutes of cooking crappy meals.
As someone with 8 years in the food service industry, It's amazing to me that they find servers to serve her - she doesn't tip properly! It's easy to eat on $40 a day if you're forcing the server to pay the taxes on your meal.
I saw her over-the-top, sugary, syrupy mug on my favorite box of crackers in the grocery store last night. I don't buy that brand of crackers anymore.

Hey Dumbdown...
[Read the article: "Tasting Rachael Ray"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Are you talking about the one and only, kitchen sex-goddess, Nigela Lawson ???
She is hands down THE BOMB !! Rachel "Fructose for Blood" Ray can't hold a candle to that woman. Watching Rachel Ray makes me want to get a vasectomy while watching Nigela makes me wonder why I don't make love in the kitchen more...
As for the ones who don't agree with me, as for the ones who really "dig" RR, hey - there's someone for everyone.
God Bless America.

Joan Walsh - out of their league.
[Read the article: Play ball!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I can't, for the life of me, understand why Joe and Pat would get agitated at your "serial adulterer" comment. Why would they think it's ok for "Newt" to generalize an entire city, but get their feathers ruffled over a well known fact about Gingrich, that he himself has admitted? It just doesn't make sense.
I'm from San Francisco, as well (although currently I'm giving L.A. a shot) and I can add that Speaker Pelosi's 'San Francisco' values are ones that embody family, fidelity, diversity and freedom.
Newt Gingrich's values embody hypocrisy and cheating on your wife while she's dying from cancer.
The fact that Scarborough and Buchanan would attempt to protect Newt Gingrich speaks volumes about themselves...

Great article, Joe.
[Read the article: To Damascus with Nancy Pelosi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The outrage of Pelosi's visit to Syria by some Republicans, is indeed strange. What I find even more strange is the deeper meaning of the fact that the Vice President was a guest on Rush Limbaugh's radio show.
Most of the audible "outrage" is coming from right-wing pundits, extremists who do not represent the views of any reasonable thinking American. So, why would Cheney join the ranks of the extremists to express his own brand of partisan outrage? What does that, in fact, say about this administration and the people in it? Why has it become acceptable for a Vice President to join the ranks of tabloid journalism? Maybe Dick Cheney will be a guest judge on American Idol one day...

Disney has lost "it's" mind...
[Read the article: No sympathy for the devil]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]They hire Keith Richards, the most UN-Disney person in the world. They fire Keith Richards for making a Keith Richards-ish comment. Sounds like someone should have done their homework.
Disney broadcasts Pat Robertson's 700 Club 5 days a week. Pat Robertson is a clinically insane lunatic who calls for assassinations of leaders, as well as American citizens and advocates stealing oil from South American countries, labels people in favor of women's rights as child muderers and blames them for 9/11, yet Disney does NOT fire Pat Robertson.
I think it's the US that should fire Disney.

insane...
[Read the article: McCain: It's fun to be wrong]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Seriously - is he wearing adult diapers and a drool bucket yet ?

GREAT response, Cary...
[Read the article: Is my 13-year-old son gay?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I couldn't have said it better.
