Dear Anonymous:
You know, As a gay man, I'll go to the barricades defending women's rights, choice, womens' mortifying weddings and bachelorette parties etc. But after reading these letters, I think how great it would have been if I had not read these letters. Because it made me never want to speak to another straight woman ever again.

PS
[Read the article: Why bathroom sex is hot]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]seriously, these letters are horrifying. The depths of disgust that supposedly liberal, "tolerant" people seem to have for gays is totally freaking me out! For everyone who wrote in her letter, "I'm not homophobic but..."
Sorry, but you ARE homophobic. Sorry! You just are! I understand being somewhat grossed out by the whole tearoom thing-- because personally i get grossed out just peeing in a public bathroom, and forget giving a BJ-- but these letters betray a sense of disgust that goes way beyond that. it honestly really surprises me. "I have plenty of gay friends, and I'm not homophobic, but why do gay people always have to... ? ?"
Fill in the blank, apparently.
I knew republicans and christian fanatics hated gays, but now i'm starting to think that all of my straight-woman friends are wolves in sheeps clothing too! and maybe also my mom. i don't know why, exactly, but these letters leave me feeling kind of betrayed.
so basically fuck you all, i guess.

BUY MORE CLOTHES
[Read the article: Conversations: Tim Gunn]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]i've always loved tim gunn on project runway, because he seems to approach fashion from the standpoint of an artist-- or at least and art teacher. his new show is completely fucking disgusting. the fact that it takes the admittedly shallow makeover genre and turns it into a self-help thing grosses me out to no end. have a problem? buy a 3000 dress! we will give you a diamond from our sponsor, to replace the puny one your husband gave you when he was poor and could afford no better. feel better!? OF COURSE YOU DO.
tim gunn is clearly a total sellout. quite a statement, considering he is someone who is nothing more than a reality-whore to start with.
